Nope. The fault lies 100% with Sadowitz. The onus is on the performer to provide accurate information to the Fringe website.
There were over 3,000 shows at the Fringe. Acts are not "booked" by "booker/venue/ticket sales agent/the system". That's not how the Fringe works. The performers book a performing space- they are not booked by the venue or a promoter. Other than possibly The Traverse, which is quasi- official, the venues don't exercise any control or sifting of who books a space.
It's beyond realistic to expect the venues to check the level of detail you are suggesting and that's not how the deal works.
I've no idea that Sadowitz has been doing this for decades. I've been attending the Fringe for over 30 years. He's not a performer I have any desire to see but I wasn't aware of this.
There were many acts which provided information on the official website that nudity, sexual references etc, were involved. Sadowitz chose to ignore that.
