There's a 6 page thread from the weekend on BMN titled Why isn't depressing deep-seated racism on MN challenged more?

I’m not going on BMN, it’s not for me. This thread was mentioned above, but nothing in the actual thread highlighted. I have seen racism accusations on MN, usually to anyone who doesn’t think Meghan or Harry are paragons of virtue, or once on a thread about missing children and why wasn’t it front page news, when it had made several newspapers on the evening they went missing. Recently saw a missing article in exactly the same way for a missing white child, not top of page, but actually a day after she went missing.

I’m pretty sure if you reported anything you saw that was racist it would be removed by the moderators.

They did remove the photos of Mr Menno's "Black Pamper" character posted to this thread for being racist, I'll give them that.

I'd already seen the BMN thread. I read things on there regularly and yes, it can be very uncomfortable sometimes but, as I understand things, it's meant to be a place where black posters can talk to other black posters. Uninterrupted. I wouldn't dream of posting on there, commenting on anything that's been said, arguing with anything that's been said or using anything that's been said to score debating points. All a bit disrespectful in my book.

Like I said, I had read it. I often read threads on BMN, it's an interesting and very informative place. I just don't comment on them.

Yes MN recognised the mr menno photo was racist.
