Deny everything, Baldrick.

nauticant · 23/05/2022 14:30

MW now quibbing over whether GCC upheld the complaints about AB. BC reads out an email from MS saying exactly the opposite.

nauticant · 23/05/2022 14:30

Collapse of stout party.

ickky · 23/05/2022 14:30

Probably get more sense out of a turnip.

They all fall apart. He sounded quite convincing to start with, but you cant defend the indefensible in good faith. This is what comes across with every GCC witness. They treated her appallingly, and it's obvious to any observer.

Triotriotrio · 23/05/2022 14:32

Who is Mira Maker and why can we see her house?

ickky · 23/05/2022 14:32

BC finished with MW, now for AH.

OP posts:
nauticant · 23/05/2022 14:32

The impression I get from MW's evidence is that GCC in general was not closely aligned to Stonewall (detriment 3) but the handling of the complaints by GCC was a shambles and wasn't fair, transparent, or in alignment with the complaints policy of GCC (detriments 2 and 4).

Mollyollydolly · 23/05/2022 14:33

Yes Mira Maker if you're here you're in vision!

Queenoftheashes · 23/05/2022 14:34

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 23/05/2022 13:50

How can these QCs have no knowledge of coercion in a non-violent sense? The concept of 'coercive control' is common knowledge now, and doesn't need to involve any violence, it can be non-violent act such as threats, insults, humiliation, intimidation.

Right - so incredibly disingenuous I couldn’t believe it from what I understood to be a leading human rights chambers

MythicalReasonableTwitterUser · 23/05/2022 14:34

Fascinating how concise and non-waffly the answers get on Mr. Hochhauser's turn

maltravers · 23/05/2022 14:35

“We acted on the evidence before us” (and didn’t look at any of the evidence AB supplied of course).

TopKnotch · 23/05/2022 14:35

Triotriotrio · Today 14:32

Who is Mira Maker and why can we see her house?

i am assuming in error. The sofa doesn't look like it's been quite prepared for public viewing tbh.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 23/05/2022 14:35

This is a long long long 'question'. See if he understands it.

Funny how he and AH pointed out that BC’s questions were too long...

StrongOutspokenOftenIrritating · 23/05/2022 14:39

I’m so distracted by this my toddler just handed me a poo (his own - the third ever he’s managed to do in the potty). Envy

Mollyollydolly · 23/05/2022 14:39

I've emailed the clerk about the person in vision to avoid any embarrassment for them!

Birdsweepsin · 23/05/2022 14:40

TRAs on Twitter now accusing TRAs of being 'random anonymous weirdos'. Running scared I reckon

If Allison Bailey's argument depends on her proving that sexually abusive and intimidating comments on twitter are "endemic" to trans rights campaigning, that really says a lot about her, more than the trans movement which these random mostly anonymous weirdos don't represent.

Early hours and in proximity to christmas - double shot time!

CriticalCondition · 23/05/2022 14:42

Ha! Can we add 'I would have been asleep' to the bingo card?

Nice victim blaming there!

TheBiologyStupid · 23/05/2022 14:45

BC intervenes rarely, but caught AH using an incomplete version of an email chain in his re-examination.

Queenoftheashes · 23/05/2022 14:45

Why is being asleep relevant is he saying he only reads emails if he’s at his laptop looking at the email tab?

LipbalmOrKnickers · 23/05/2022 14:46

Good catch by BC there. Hochhauser blaming his own bundle again.

ickky · 23/05/2022 14:49

AH Asking MW if he believes the first tweet was a breach of their policy. MW confirms he does NOT think it is a breach.

Doesn't really matter what he says, it was clearly a departure from the norm and a breach of their own policy.
