It appears no one at GCC is on Twitter...

Although MS has an account (tweets protected)

nauticant · 18/05/2022 14:57

One of Michelle Brewer's really stirring it up emails ends with "I have not included Allison in this email - but understand that this email will be provided to Allison."

tabbycatstripy · 18/05/2022 14:57

‘BEN is loving reading out these tweets in court, isn't he? What a great moment!’

DickWarlock is a great thing to read out. Just offensive enough to get the point across.

Datun · 18/05/2022 14:58

It's a huge testament to the marketing of the trans ideology, and a massive indictment of those who follow it, that these people aren't utterly outraged and shocked at the abuse someone gets for supporting an LGB charity.

NoImAVeronica · 18/05/2022 14:59

I don't think ignorance is an acceptable defence, but yes, perhaps being far too busy and important will work??

nauticant · 18/05/2022 15:01

MHL explained that GCC was trying to figure out how to respond to being caught in a crossfire. BC suggesting that ducking might have been a better response rather than pitching in. I did snort.

Gabcsika · 18/05/2022 15:01

MHL: "It is in the policy, but that's not how it works in practise".

WTF is the point of the policy, then?

Ameanstreakamilewide · 18/05/2022 15:02

BC: Chambers decided to plump for a side, didn't they?

MHL: Not at all.

I beg to differ!

Theeyeballsinthefuckingsky · 18/05/2022 15:02

the whole “but what is this twitter of which you speak?” I am far too busy & important to have ever heard of it” line they are taking is an interesting one……

katmarie · 18/05/2022 15:04

Gah, finally got back in after 20 minutes of black screen to hear 'time for a break'.

BenCoopersSupportWren · 18/05/2022 15:06

I'm catching up with this thread utterly open-mouthed at MS's behaviour on the stand, and that's just seeing the words on a screen...I can only imagine how it came across live.

I would have loved it if, when she huffed "I am a woman, Mr Cooper", Ben had asked her exactly how she was defining 'woman'.

Gabcsika · 18/05/2022 15:07

@katmarie

She didn't huff it, she effin shouted it.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 18/05/2022 15:08

Jesus, we would have heard a bloody pin drop!

pardonmytits · 18/05/2022 15:10

Sorry if this has been answered before, but why is it that this case is being heard remotely? Not that I’m complaining, as watching it is riveting, but just curious.

Gabcsika · 18/05/2022 15:10

I quite like MKH, gotta be honest.

Very polite, very smiley, not at all perturbed. She seems quite good so far.

Gabcsika · 18/05/2022 15:11

MHL sorry

NoImAVeronica · 18/05/2022 15:11

And she practically spat 'MR Cooper'. It was astonishing really.

Clymene · 18/05/2022 15:13

Why is HAkl-Law's camera still off? And EJ's?

NoImAVeronica · 18/05/2022 15:13

I said MKH earlier too Gabcsika , apologies if it has now become contagious!

Ameanstreakamilewide · 18/05/2022 15:14

If i can just go on a tangent to pardonmytits...

Is your user name from Dexter, by any chance?

My reaction, too!

More credible & less histrionic. It's refreshing

Iknowitisheresomewhere · 18/05/2022 15:17

I quite like this pairing - she seems to know her evidence and not try to fudge stuff, so far, and Ben is very polite.

doublemonkey · 18/05/2022 15:19

"You're taking me down a rabbit hole I'm not prepared to go down"...said the lesbian to the trans lesbian woman.

Gabcsika · 18/05/2022 15:19

OOOf

"She doesn't seem to care about the chambers at all, she is totally content on slagging off Stonewall".

Email from MHL to (MS I think?)
