ickky · 16/05/2022 10:52

The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.
On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

There is also live tweeting from

The question has not been asked and answered.

Manicsfan · 16/05/2022 16:34

The witnesses for the Respondents can dish it out, but they cannae take it!
Extraordinarily bold when (it looks like) they were scheming against Allison (or LT deciding it wasn't a priority to him), making YouTube videos etc. Angry, self-pitying, forgetful when having to account for their actions.
Stonewall throwing junior staff under a bus is absolutely despicable. If they acted outwith the authority of their employer, I'm sure they will be leading evidence and demonstrating the paper trail showing the subsequent investigation, disciplinary process. Otherwise they must be vicariously liable?
Judges not impressed with obvious breech kf disclosure rules too.

MagnoliaTaint · 16/05/2022 16:34

Ooh, RM agrees that the language used was arguably 'shameful'

tabbycatstripy · 16/05/2022 16:35

It was shameful. He could just have ignored her email but he punished her for making a claim under the law.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 16/05/2022 16:36

BC: Was it not shameful to say -
AH: That question has been asked and answered.
BC: Was it not shameful to say in that email -
AH: That question has been asked and answered
EJ: I don't know what the question is. Please ask the question, Mr Cooper
BC: (Asks question)
RM: That's a different question.

ickky · 16/05/2022 16:36

I would like BC to ask why MG DID provide the details requested 12 hours later. Was he told to be helpful after a complaint had been made?

OP posts:
chilling19 · 16/05/2022 16:37

'But how would they know it wasn't urgent?' Exactly

Signalbox · 16/05/2022 16:37

BC getting cross about the constant interruptions from AH.

ickky · 16/05/2022 16:37

Hochhauser trying to direct BC questions. BC told AH to let him finish.

chilling19 · 16/05/2022 16:37

BC telling Hockhauser to do one 👏

nauticant · 16/05/2022 16:38

Overall I'd have preferred the Gatley affair to have been part of setting the scene for the claim in general relating to prejudice from GCC rather than having it at the centre of the case as has been done.

nauticant · 16/05/2022 16:39

EJ: time to call a halt and resume tomorrow, everyone is overtired.

ickky · 16/05/2022 16:40

Finished for today, resumes tomorrow at 10am.

Sigh, it was just getting spicy.

Oh no. I literally logged back on to hear EJ say she was going to disconnect us.

If anyone has managed to get access via an iPhone can you let me know the settings. I tried everything and couldn't get audio or video.

Yes it is an excellent example of the hostility chambers had for AB.

Same here. Tried Safari and Chrome, neither worked

exchange of the day!!

thanks for all your suggestions re the refresh. I WFH, I'm having internet issues Virgin can't fix, laptop issues the tech team can't fix so I've not got any meaningful work done for a few days now, and the MN refersh issue was the last straw.

TeenPlusCat · 16/05/2022 16:41

Exactly. It was the judge equivalent of interrupting a toddler on the verge of throwing a 5 o'clock wobbly to say ' Right, time to go home now and get some tea.'

does Stonewall have any "senior staff" - they all seem to be very junior or at least immature.

The likes of RM & the rest of GCC must be horrified to see in court exactly who they were paying to direct them in such important matters.

I get in on an iphone by clicking the guest link, opening it on safari, making sure my camer and mic are set to default - and then switching them off as soon as I'm in (I think mic is automatically muted but I have to put my thumb over my camera and click the camera off as soon as I enter. Been doing this since the start and it works fine I then stream the audio in my car on my way home from work

GrimDamnFanjo · 16/05/2022 16:56

I'm wondering out loud whether the interviews with SW staff and volunteers will be one of the key exposing areas of the tribunal.
We are seeing first hand who has been basically forming public policy - and they are less than impressive!

I'd missed that that is coming up.

KM is 34, iirc, and has the title Head of Trans Inclusion which sounds quite senior.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 16/05/2022 17:00

There are some people getting in on phones whose phone number is visible on the screen. Just thought I'd better mention that while the topic has come up!

Or is the visible phone number a result of using one of the other links instead of the browser access link?
