The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

We had a short hearing privately because, 1 person giving evidence has been subject to abuse and threat on twitter.

Given it was the opposing side that reported the abuse and threat on twitter, I am going to guess that they aren’t talking about Allison.

So a Stonewall witness (most likely) or a GCC witness (less likely) had something nasty written about them or to them. I can understand not saying who it is but personally I would like to know what they think a threat/abuse is so I can see if it is anything like that which is posted on Terfisaslur.com

I thought it wasn't made public who the future witnesses are?

Well it's nice to see the the Employment Tribunal takes threats on Twitter seriously even if GCC doesn't.

What else will disrupt this hearing?

It is very telling that all these distractions and delays are all from the other side.

I think there's an additional dimension when a witness is targeted prior to them giving evidence in court when there's reason to think them giving evidence is the cause for the threats. As EJ said, it is an attack on our democratic system.

EJ said the tribunal would not release a schedule of witnesses formally but during the proceedings future witnesses have been mentioned by name a number of times OvaHere.

I wouldn't put it past the other side to target their own witness in an attempt to discredit Allison's supporters

Well, it was obviously beyond the capabilities of whoever cobbled it together. Unless the state of the 'finished' article was due to sloth.

It might be that those representing Stonewall will eventually be able to do this competently; as there may be a few cases against them in the future.

LT suggesting that the GCC clerks are simple beings who have no interest in issues like the trans issue.

As I suspect that they are more heavily implicated that LT.

I do think we’re seeing a combination of people, some of whom are disinterested in the debates but happy to do what is convenient or popular, and some of whom are more engaged and so get away with pushing an agenda purely on the strength of calling it ‘progressive’.
