The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.
On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

I need coloured paper for the visual processing issues connected with autism.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 16/05/2022 11:08

Well, my manager refused me a printer and green paper so I struggle through as best I can but coloured paper would really help.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 16/05/2022 11:10

@nauticant Someone is complaining about your name in the chat box

LangificusClegasaurous · 16/05/2022 11:10

Breaking until 11.06 as next SW witness not there yet. ffs

Well, if you can't shut down debate at least you can stall it and shorten it as mush as possible....

exwhyzed · 16/05/2022 11:11

What happens if he just doesn't turn up?

LangificusClegasaurous · 16/05/2022 11:11

*much -mush= my brain

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 16/05/2022 11:12

In contempt? Am sure SK is coming but this won't help with anxiety about giving evidence. I'd not want to arrive and go straight into it.

CatsOperatingInGangs · 16/05/2022 11:12

@nauticant someone is objecting to your users name in the chat. Do they not know who you are?!?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/05/2022 11:12

Well, my manager refused me a printer and green paper so I struggle through as best I can but coloured paper would really help.

Can I ask how it helps? Would like to understand.

nauticant · 16/05/2022 11:14

Wow, IdisagreeMrHochhauser, what a fascinating example of monitoring of our threads here. Do I now have a fan/stalker?

Just to be clear, that isn't me.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/05/2022 11:14

Well I never.

nauticant · 16/05/2022 11:15

Same to CatsOperatingInGangs. How strange.

I've been diagnosed with Irlen syndrome but that's a brand name really and visual stress or visual processing disorder would better describe it.

I can barely function under fluorescent lighting and the glare from white surfaces is difficult to cope with. Black text on white paper is difficult to read. The text all has a halo around it so I find it harder to process. Green for me just dampens down the reflections off the page and makes me sigh with relief.

I'm not dyslexic and have several degrees so it isn't a problem with reading per se but a problem with coping and processing light.

The flip side is that I'm highly sensitive and have been called a 'light worker' by friends in the healing world. It makes working in an office a right old bugger but makes me a much better photographer. Swings and roundabouts.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/05/2022 11:16

I would make the tribunal clerk aware that you are a known regular poster on mumsnet and it isn't you and it's a bit of a coincidence that someone has chosen that name.

CatsOperatingInGangs · 16/05/2022 11:16

That’s very interesting. Why would someone who is not you, use your user name? Shenanigans indeed.

More dirty tactics. So predictable.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/05/2022 11:17

Thank you, I appreciate the explanation, Idisagree.

Pluvia · 16/05/2022 11:19

Who is Nauticant?

nauticant · 16/05/2022 11:21

You make a fair point Ereshkigalangcleg but I steer hard away from linking separate Internet/real world identities I have so I'll let that game carry on unless it becomes an issue.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/05/2022 11:22

It looks like someone else here has posted it.

I think everyone's camera seems to be off, and sorry if that sounded impolite, should I call you Pigeon instead?!

Oh - sorry.

Just realised what you meant.

As you were people. I have two poorly dogs in the house and I'm not at my sharpest at the moment.

BotchedBundles · 16/05/2022 11:30

I’m trying desperately to get into the feed for the Tribunal, it’s just bloody irritating now 😖

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/05/2022 11:31

Let's move to the new thread!

GrimDamnFanjo · 16/05/2022 11:31

How is the name Nauticant offensive?
