I'm not sure if there's context, but his aggression is unpleasant and it's a huge shame that he behaved like this at an LGBA event as it brings their name into disrepute. Bev Jackson and Allison Bailey have been so calm, articulate and respectful in the way they engage with debate so this is really unfortunate.

I've been trying to figure this video out. I also read something about women being filmed/recorded in the loo. But it's hard to make it all out.

I've just read the blogs. Jen used the Ladies loos for a wee and to check their recorder was working.

It's a shame that Jen got what they wanted from their stunt.

According to Jen it was a hidden recording device not a smartphone.

I believe this is the same TW who was also insisting on using the women's toilets, and were at the conference to protest rather than to participate. (To give some context)

That man being demonised for aggression was Alex Bramham, who was verbally abused and had his LGB Alliance hat stolen at a Pride march prior to that. The man who was escorted away by police for his own safety.

Alex has ASD and had been goaded by Jen Ives. Alex says Jen called him a nonce.

We know that Jen was wearing a concealed recording device for the entire day as Jen released excerpts.

We have an entire thread of the usual suspects explaining that wearing an LGB Alliance hat constitutes provocation, and that no-one can be held responsible for mobbing and threatening a man wearing one in a public street.

I can't wait to see what they say about a male pointedly using the women's toilets at a conference where the toilets are divided by sex.

I believe that Jen confirmed that the recording device was turned off while in the bathroom.

From what I can see, Jen remained calm and didn’t do anything that could be considered ‘protesting’ during the day?

That tweet shows that Jen collaborated with Katy Montgomerie and shared the recording with Montgomerie.

I don’t know what the context is or what the provocation but I really didn’t find that comfortable viewing. I said as much on Twitter and got quite a bit of abuse, i absolutely would say call out anyone in spaces that they shouldn’t be in. I don’t agree with hectoring anyone like this though there are ways of doing it, having that said that if I had been called a nonce I might feel differently.

So Ives breaches boundaries by going into the women's toilets at an event where the organisers have specified they are single-sex, not single-gender, but I'm supposed to trust Ives if they say, totally turned the device off in the toilets, honest.

Really horrific, there are no excuses. But there are explanations. The man shouting the abuse is neurodiverse - is ASD, so has difficulty with impulse control. Jen has been blogging about infiltrating events like these. Jen goes along, and deliberately antagonises. They also secretly film in ladies toilets. The reason Jen looks so calm in the video is that she is getting EXACTLY what she wanted. Jen is a professional troll.
