New business on the block selling organic tampons via post and so on, called Yoppie. This is their instagram.

Text of instagram post:

'Most bleeders know how they are impacted by their period, but unfortunately aren't in touch with their feelings & symptoms in the other phases of their cycle. We are here to change that.'

I just can't stop laughing at this one. Grin

Shock I actually have no words for this one

WinterTrees · 15/03/2022 17:13

I feel Danielle may be about to discover that WOMEN are actually very in touch with their feelings about being dehumanised and won't be troubling her business with their nasty female cash.

RoyKentsChestHair · 15/03/2022 17:13

Glad you’re laughing. That’s appalling.

beastlyslumber · 15/03/2022 17:14

Fucking hell.

Fairislefandango · 15/03/2022 17:16

Idiots. The comments are pretty clear though.

CheeseAndHackers · 15/03/2022 17:17

Danielle can bleedin' well fuck right off

RoyKentsChestHair · 15/03/2022 17:17

@Fairislefandango

Idiots. The comments are pretty clear though.
Except that one poster who is going along preaching at everyone that it’s more inclusive to pander to the tiny minority who prefer to be called bleeders than the huge majority who prefer to retain their fucking dignity!
SpaceshiptoMars · 15/03/2022 17:18

Bleeders. Mmmh. From the same stable as 'breeders', I guess.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 15/03/2022 17:18

The comments haven't gone well for them Grin

SpaceshiptoMars · 15/03/2022 17:19

Bring on the leeches. Just fancy a right good bleed.

CharlieParley · 15/03/2022 17:20

I've spent enough time with my son in A&E after Rugby games and can categorically state he too bleeds.

I still wouldn't buy him tampons though.

(This might just be me but doesn't "bleeder" refer to either a hemophiliac and/or to a blood vessel experiencing traumatic bleeding?)

DaisyTheUnicorn · 15/03/2022 17:21

How is this okay and people are okay with this? How is this getting through?

I hope there will be an "emperor's new clothes" moment but my fear is that this is going to become the new normal .

TheCovidHalfStone · 15/03/2022 17:21

I’m looking forward to the toilet roll manufacturers following suit.

Wehadabetamax · 15/03/2022 17:22

It doesn't even make sense. Men bleed too. Menstrual blood isn't the only blood.

Soubriquet · 15/03/2022 17:22

I’m certainly in touch with my feelings.

I’m pissed we are called bleeders and breeders.

I didn’t know women were the only people who bled though. What a revelation.

SamphiretheStickerist · 15/03/2022 17:23

And we are sure that isn't a spoof?

It's really hard to tell...

Ohsugarhoneyicetea · 15/03/2022 17:24

Everybody bleeds, and last time I cut the top off my finger I was very in touch with my feelings.

ohCARP · 15/03/2022 17:24

Oh fuck off, Daniella.

Bleeders? Seriously?

crosshatching · 15/03/2022 17:25

@TheCovidHalfStone I was just going to say, don't give the makers of Immodium any ideas!

Ohsugarhoneyicetea · 15/03/2022 17:26

I really want a Durex to make an advert for jizzers, you know, to be inclusive.

Fairislefandango · 15/03/2022 17:30

Yes, there's always one. Sometimes a lot more than one. And look at her picture- perfectly womanly-looking woman. But no, she's non-binary, because that makes her more speshull I expect.

Soubriquet · 15/03/2022 17:30

Toilet paper:- shitters and pissers
Imodium:- no shitters.
Durex:- jizzers

Doubletoilandtrouble · 15/03/2022 17:30

My son is a bleeder too. He played rugby today and there was quite a bit of blood. No A&E though.

CharlieParley, do you think we are missing something? Obviously those tampons are for all bleeders but I just cannot figure out how to use them on scratches and injuries, do we maybe roll them up and down?

Should we also maybe let the company know that our bleeders are very much in touch with their feelings of pain? I mean… I think that feedback is important?

Theunamedcat · 15/03/2022 17:31

Only 146 comments though so not a huge fan base
