New business on the block selling organic tampons via post and so on, called Yoppie. This is their instagram.

Text of instagram post:

'Most bleeders know how they are impacted by their period, but unfortunately aren't in touch with their feelings & symptoms in the other phases of their cycle. We are here to change that.'

I just can't stop laughing at this one. Grin

When they were discussing the new Texas abortion laws last year, I remember seeing an interview with AOC where she kept describing the law as effecting menstruators. I kept waiting for someone to pull her up on it and say that an abortion law would surely effect non-menstruators more given the general lack of periods while pregnant

Honestly I'd rather just bleed onto the floor than spend a single penny on san-pro from a company that reduces me to a 'bleeder'.

Pretty bleeder,
Walkin down the street,
Pretty bleeder,
The kind I like to meet,
Pretty bleeder
You’re not the truth, I don’t believe you

Yoppie sounds like a brand of [frozen] yoghurt (thought may be due to Yoplait 🤔) rather than a company that makes menstrual hygiene products.

Obviously it may have a very different resonance in Swedish, but… do you really want to sell tampons with a name that’ll make people associate them with [treating] thrush? Confused

@ChiefInspectorParker

I’m looking forward to Bleeder & Home magazine.
Well Beat me on the bottom with a Bleeder’s Weekly Grin

Yoppie can get in the bin along with Modi Bodi, another brand that felt unable to bring themselves to utter the dirty word of "woman".

Just looked at the Yoppie Insta feed and there's a follow up post where they double down on the use of the word bleeders, and there's another pile on from the comments.

They've since posted a few times more and not mentioned bleeders again - seem to be using the word woman now, but still no apology? They can fuck right off.

They wanted attention. The whole ‘no publicity is bad publicity’ but they forgot Gerald Ratner didn’t they?

Goodbyeeeee
