It's any cause to berate or threaten a woman that is sufficient exculpation, the material reality of the cause is immaterial because it just has to provide adequate political cover.

About time somebody stepped up and spoke out about this, how embarrassing and spineless that the Leader of her Party is too cowardly to do so.

I will be writing to my Labour MP and to Rosie Duffield (again) in support.

There are certain articles which The Times moderate heavily.

I , along with a couple of other people, commented that at the end of this article we were none the wiser what it was about. All deleted.

All the comments are being held at the moment. I suspect they're in a bit of a dilemma - having suddenly hidden the many hundreds of comments under Janice Turner's article, they're faced with the same issues about free speech being raised again. The Times have outsourced the moderation of their articles to a USA company who don't have the same values as the paper about free speech so they end up looking like idiots with some of their inconsistent decisions.

I think this article is getting a lot of comments, more sunlight, the better and shame on all those in her party and other parties who don’t stand up for her.

Here's a politican who is experiencing this trolling and her safety is compromised, to the extent she cannot attend this event. The people attending will be signing a pledge to 'crack down' on trolling etc but the Labour Party as a whole haven't made a statement to condemn the trolling against Duffield? It's only been individual party members?v Have I got that right?

It's disgraceful isn't it, a woman doesn't feel safe at work, her boss and colleagues stay silent.

The moderating company will be in a meeting fretting about how to allow views to be posted on that article that might support Rosie and not bend the knee sufficiently deeply to the trans taliban (I think that's what the magnificent Julie Bindel calls them)

This is a different event it is a special conference in Chorley for Heads of Parliament from the G7 Nations not the Labour Party Conference and the Speakers at this conference are the ones that will sign the pledge.

The Labour Party leader is a shameful disgrace.
