I’ve checked as much as I can and apparently Jameela Jamil and Josie Long (I’m not sure who she is but lots of followers) have deleted their tweets supporting Mermaids. Jameela also seems to have removed her unpleasant tweet(s) to JK Roeling (I don’t think I’ve missed them on the searches) An interesting development.

Add jade thirlwall (little mix singer) and Michelle visage to the list.

Of famous supporters that need to back away that is.

Emma Watson for me is the most annoying of the pathetic handmaidens. Using her UN role to drive the bus over females while degenerating the woman who gave her the access to fame, and being so simpering, just so, so disappointing.

I’ve just searched for it and it looks to be deleted. There are a few similar rhymes in reply that remain but the original seems to be gone.

Jameela is grim. It feels as if she is still one of the mean girls at her very posh London private school (Queens college).

Jameela's Twitter account - what a mindless pile of arse! Yes she's deleted some like telling JKR 'mouth shut, purse open' etc... She does however seem to enjoy retweeting some of LOJ's choice tweets (eg Rosie Duffield attack with misleading statistics). That man really hates women, so what does that say about a woman who amplifies his misogyny?? Definitely not, as she labels herself, a 'feminist in progress'.

Corsican, perhaps the still was wrong. I don't know what she was like at school but have had plenty of chance to observe how other rich cool kids behave. Private school encourages a level of confidence and entitlement. My reading is that this is something Jameela has now, so I assume she had then.

Unfair to imply it was fact, gives people the impression she was a bitch at school, which may be completely false I completely agree that private school encourages a level of confidence and entitlement. That doesn’t automatically mean that a private school girl is a mean girl though, or the boys the name equivalent, whatever that is.

It will be interesting who says ‘I hold my hands up, I got this one wrong, sorry to those I hurt’ - and who dirty-deletes and denies any involvement. When the wheels are thoroughly off the bus I think the first group deserve some degree of grace, but it seems only fair to hold the rest fully accountable. This thing where you can edit your history and control your image is part of what got us into this mess in the first place.

Not sure about her schooling, but she went to Cambridge and is very middle class and twee.
