I just couldn't watch all of it. I switched off at the point where I realised she had oh-so-neatly segued into virtue-signalling how much she has done to ensure refugees were safe. Yes, of course refugees from war should be safe. But what about the women who need safety because of the violence they've faced?

Its the current prison policy under Conservatives government & SNP whose devolved power includes prisons in Scotland.
There are very few politicians in any of the parties who have been concerned to stand up for the State's Duty of Care owed to vulnerable female prisoners.

Thats despite the June 2018 MoJ Female Offender Strategy which specifically identifies the particular vulnerabilities of females in prison.
