Labour leadership contender Rebecca Long-Bailey has signed up to a pledge to expel party members who have expressed "transphobic" views.
The recently-formed Labour Campaign for Trans Rights says its 12 pledges will help "rid the party of transphobia

It's also going to rid them of about a third of its female voters.

They're so thick.

Their own bloody mantra is 'for the many, not the few'. Well dickheads, there are far more biological women than trans women....

How absolutely wonderful that so many thousands of people are standing up in defence of women- it’s a real “Spartacus” moment, isn’t it. Must admit, I felt almost tearful to see such solid support, after feeling we were lone voices for so long!
I should have had more faith in the good sense of ordinary people - the average Brit does not take kindly to fascist orders on how to think or behave. Well done to the idiots in the Labour Party for giving this toxic ideology maximum exposure!

I can’t remember who, but someone tweeted that Labour have been made “useful idiots” just about sums it up for me.

This whole fiasco is why we should always consider ideas on their merits, not just go along with ideas unthinkingly because they sound like others we agree with.

That Bastini bloke doesn't get out of his social group much, does he? The majority of people do not believe TRA dogma. Most people want to be nice and not hurt anyone's feelings, and are generally in favor of human rights protections being expanded, but the official TRA position has gone so far off the deep end that of course people are pushing back. Because what's being asked for is absurd and dangerous to other people.

When kids are being harmed, people notice and don't like it. When discussion is forbidden, people notice and don't like it. When you tell people that biological sex is a social construct, they begin to question your sanity, which leads to also wondering how many of your other positions are somewhat less than reality based.
