Which has for the first time ever made me feel sorry for the world's most successful author, if that's something people have been doing before this.

I wonder if they would also accost any author that wrote books about school. Maybe a medium could contact Enid Blyton to see if a trans child could attend Mallory Towers.

And I suspect Hogwarts would have had the same approach to transgender ism as any muggle school in the 90s

And I'm horribly aware of some of the less-known aftermath of the Fall of the Wall that resembles emboldening of abhorrent attitudes. But, we need the fall or women's progress and that of other vulnerable groups will be set back at a point where we're about to be exposed to more austerity and brute market forces.

God that is actually such a confusing tweet, absolutely baffling, so if your life dream is to become a member of the opposite sex and you enter a magical world, the one place on fictional earth where the wish you have can come true and you can actually magically change sex why would you not do that. Baffling totally baffling.

This is brilliant. And no one could possibly disagree with that tweet. Its fully supportive of anyone to express themselves as they wish. Yet, TRAs are throwing abuse at her anyway. There are going to be a lot of people today realising what's going on.
