Exactly. Their fight for rights did not include that straight people have sex with them and learn to get over their genital fetishes

at the time in popular press this was exactly the view that was presented to the general public. it was wrong then and it is wrong now.

Trohmaniac · 06/08/2019 18:09

So you agree with the lesbian protesters then, Bespin?

SophoclesTheFox · 06/08/2019 18:09

Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.

This was a thread of much promise, driven into oblivion.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 06/08/2019 18:09

People disagreeing is not spamming the thread however much you think it is.

No it's not.

I never said it was, maybe you need help with my comment above.

Bespin mentioned earlier about how many pages were left, i was suggesting a count down to the last post.

Bespin · 06/08/2019 18:10

pups came from the leather scene which as indeed been around since the beginning of pride.

Oh OK, fair enough

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 06/08/2019 18:12

Came from Master–slave not leather surely?

Bespin · 06/08/2019 18:12

this thread was about Leeds pride that was an amazing and inclusive pride that did not allow the view of a small number of people to spoil that inclusivity. it showed that our community is a strong and vibrant one and that it stands together.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 06/08/2019 18:13

If you've misunderstood something that simple i wonder what else you have?

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 06/08/2019 18:13

it stands together

Until someone is arrested, then everyone drops them like a tonne of bricks.

Trohmaniac · 06/08/2019 18:14

Are you implying that people in the leather scene encourage young children to come and play, while they (the adults) sport visible erections?

Or are you saying that those adults in the leather scene are aware of these fetishists within their scene, who attempt to engage children in play with the pups while they (the adults) have visible erections and do nothing about it?

Either of those scenarios isn't good, is it?

Bespin · 06/08/2019 18:14

no think it comes from leather scene and as been adopted by others I think, I could be wrong but that's my understanding of it. lots of fetish stuff and come from the queer seen and been adopted by others.

MsMcWibble · 06/08/2019 18:15

Yup - the pup tent at brighton pride had a pup with a visible erection talking to children.
There's pics on line.
Deny it all you like.

Unless you're a lesbian who doesn't feel you should be forced into accepting 'lady dick'.

Got it.

MsMcWibble · 06/08/2019 18:17

I think the kids thought the pup tent was Paw Patrol.
I'd go and get the pics but the thread will probably be full.

RosesAndRaindrops · 06/08/2019 18:17

Nothing else. Usually it is said for the reason I mentioned, so was an easy assumption to make when it wasn't made clear.

Fun for all the family then, eh?
How can people support these nonces?

RosesAndRaindrops · 06/08/2019 18:18

Nobody's being forced into anything.
There is still such a thing as consent.

Trohmaniac · 06/08/2019 18:19

Acceptance without exception, remember.

And who cares if any children get harmed as long as men get their jollies, eh?

MsMcWibble · 06/08/2019 18:19

What - lesbians? Same sex attracted women. Who should have been celebrated there?

MsMcWibble · 06/08/2019 18:20

Children can't give consent.

RosesAndRaindrops · 06/08/2019 18:21

And who cares if any children get harmed as long as men get their jollies, eh?

Not one SINGLE person has even insinuated anything of the sort, don't even.

Trohmaniac · 06/08/2019 18:21

Nobody's being forced into anything.
There is still such a thing as consent.

And when they point out that they have that consent, they get called homophobic bigots.

As evidenced right back at the beginning of the thread.

Keep up, there's a love.

Bespin · 06/08/2019 18:21

I'm sure the 1000s of lesbians who attended felt supported.
