So I'm sure would anyone else on here, but I'm guessing that we're all mature enough to understand that the LGBT movement does not represent every action and belief of every individual within it.

Using the example of Peter Twatchell: he has openly declared his sympathies with pedophiles and yet I believe Brighton pride chose him to lead the event. Unfortunately to most people, this looks like LGBT endorsement of pedo sympathisers.
