I’d like to think her successor will be less homophobic. We shall see, although I’m not holding out much hope.

Interesting how all the positive replies are focusing on trans. I haven't' yet read one thing where a gay, lesbian or bisexual person has complimented her on the work she did for their communities and needs.

Good riddance to her. I hope she is suitably ashamed of her influence in the destruction of homosexuality being accepted during her watch, and the ruining of lives and destruction of homosexual 'communities' that has happened in the last few years.

Homosexuality and 'lesbian' have been redefined under her watch. It is ok for her, presumably she has a partner and a network of actual lesbian friends, what about those of us who don't?
I am afraid now to go to any lesbian groups, lest I am outed as somehow 'transphobic'. The threats are everywhere and Stonewall has never spoken out. My online dating matches are over half transwomen, yet we are now in a position that people are praised for calling me a bigot if I object to this. It is so wrong.

They should have been speaking out in defence of homosexuality but instead have remained silent and therefore complicit in the branding of lesbians 'terfs' etc simply for maintaining our boundaries.

I will be stunned if her replacement is not a trans women, no doubt one who identifies as being a lesbian.
Hopefully it will be someone odious enough to make more people wake up to the nonsense that Stonewall now is.

Nah, they have lost the plot and have lost touch with reality. It will be someone from the trans advisory board.

I'm thinking that the fact she is going to have to work her full 6 month notice period means they aren't letting her go willingly. That and the pointed comments about the board, suggests to me that she is finding it hard to weather facing so much criticism from the likes of Johnny Best for spouting shit she doesn't even believe with an earnest face. I think that would be stressful.

Well a big party of 'transwomen' went to her en masse to ask her to include trans in the LGB at Stonewall. It's possible they had already made inroads to the board before that meeting and she needed to go along with it.

I say this because I don't believe that anyone, particularly if they are female or lesbian could accept the shit spouted by Stonewall unless they are monumentally dim. But maybe she is that dim.

I would have respect for Ruth Hunt if she had had a sudden change of heart about the direction the charity has taken under her watch, and was leaving on that point of principle.
