I await my t shirt with this fact. I will not be able to wear it as I have a child/teen, nearly an adult who thinks they are female. Your t shirt will go into a drawer but I know it’s there reminding me, when I am questioning myself for not affirming my child’s thought, that my son can not be female.

It was Rosa Freedman who searched the timeline of the Mot Dag conference.

It was Rosa Freedman who searched for the twitter feed of Hans Johansen.

It was Rosa Freedman who translated his tweets of 3 years ago to find 'evidence' of his racism.

And it was Rosa Freedman who then used her 'research' to smear Posie.

She wasn't fucking upset, she was fucking sly.

Are you sure she did all that and wasn't handed it by someone else?

I can understand Rosa Freedman's sentiments too. But, as a law professor, she must also understand the importance of evidence.

This is now the third time in a fortnight that I have seen people make serious allegations about Posie Parker and then failed to back them up.

It seems like very odd behaviour from someone who has the mental stability to get a PHD and keep a job.

I watched it all unfold on twitter last night.

I did think Rosa had over-reacted, but the info I was able to find suggested that this conference was organised by Alliansen, the political party run by Hans Johansen. He seems to be a sort of Norwegian Farage, only more extreme.

Maybe I was wrong, maybe he was just bandwagon-jumping being there and he wasn't the person who organised it at all.

If that's the case I apologise unreservedly to Posie.

Does anyone else remember the couple of posters who would always brigade on any thread where Posie was mentioned doing a kind of good cop bad cop Muslim 'feminist' thing? They would also trundle along to defend WPUKs stupid public denouncing of Posie.

Well, as Rosa has pointed out, Julie Bindel has been fighting this fight for many years and has managed not to pose with right-wingers, Jordan Peterson or anti-abortionists.
And I have to question the response. If it were me who found out who I was posing with, I would make a quick statement saying I was sorry and had no idea etc, understanding that a Jewish person would be very upset about it. But no, instead she insinuates that Rosa somehow knows this guy. I get the distinct impression that she doesn’t care, but seeing as so many others don’t either, it’s probably not a massive hurdle.

She did, she said straight away (and had it confirmed by two other women who were stood next to her at the time) that she had no idea who he was, he came over, stood next to her, took the selfie and walked off.

What else should she do?

Yes, she said Rosa 'knew the guy' - she did didn't she? Otherwise how would she know who he was, what political party he represented, how to search for his tweets and translate the Norwegian?

Posie is no wallflower I agree and she gives as good as she gets. But Rosa Freedman's allegation was very serious - and they weren't the first she had made against her. Julie Bindel's allegation was also deeply unpleasant and, as far as I'm aware, unsubstantiated. I'm not on Facebook but I'm not susprised if Posie blew up at Freedman, just as i can understand Freedman's feelings about Holocaust denial.

But what was Rosa Freedman doing looking at the twitter feed of the dude who got the self with Posie? Does she follow him? How did she see it? The first I heard or saw of it, she was the source. I actually like Posie and try to seek out what she's up to. How come someone who doesn't like her, was that on the ball to find his random tweet?

exLt is there any point at which you think she needs to take responsibility for who she associates with or is it basically limitless? I genuinely don’t get the impression she cares- as long as her message is heard.

Rosa has been subject to a shit load of abuse and hostility and although Posie gets hate from randoms, it’s not the same as having colleagues and former friends tear you down in public. She has integrity and she has fought for human rights for ages. I can definitely understand why she reacted how she did and she is not the only one. Julie Bindel won’t share a platform with PP.

Also, the photo was on the internet for hours before Rosa retweeted it, together with Mr Racist’s pondering about the aryan race.

Oh and from FB, it looks like Alliansen was definitely involved in the organising of this event. The whole thing is not left-wing in terms of how it is understood in modern parlance. Very shady indeed and there must surely come a time when Posie needs to scrutinise where she speaks and who she mixes with. Or she can carry on as she does, but I don’t think it will have much sway with law makers. Rosa on the other hand caused a change in think when giving evidence to politicians in Scotland.

Perhaps the tweet was only seen by people who use 'terfblockers' and Rosa Freedman.

What that mean WeRiseUp? If you want to ask MNHQ, I am a long-standing poster and user of MN. I am not a troll or an MRA or whatever you wish to accuse me of. I am a feminist who disagrees with you.

I don’t use terfblockers funnily enough and I am sure Rosa is banned by the vast majority of them. Even I am banned by some of them despite keeping my views under wraps on twitter.
