I have just read Chloe Houston's thread on twitter and all the little offshoots. It's an excellent thread, and I have to say the way she deals calmly with all of the comments is quite something.

So thank you to Rosa Freedman , and thank you Chloe for stepping forward and sticking up for her.

I really hope the University can identify who did this and they are made to take responsibility. We cannot have a proper functioning academic/university sector if people can get away with this sort of intimidation.

Agree Bubonic, he said that he was perceived as a man when people met him. So he knows that women and men are treated differently, but rather than that being a cause of concern - because it indicates structural sexism - it validates his bogus gender politics

He knows that he is treated differently when he looks and behaves differently.

Women who on becoming aware of how female socialisation has affected their behaviour and then rejecting these aspects will also be treated differently.
This doesn't mean that they are being 'treated like a man' or 'are a man'
