On Wednesday morning Bindel went public accusing me of no-platforming in an event purporting to promote free speech.
It's an unusual phrase 'accused me of' when in the preceding sentences you describe doing exactly that thing and go on to say you were right to do it.
As per our statement announcing our decision to unplatform Julie Bindel and her hatred, we believe Freedom of Speech is a very powerful tool and fundamental for democracies to thrive.
Freedom is slavery.
You currently stand in the way of democracy and human rights, but mark my words: you won't hold that position for much longer.
Given Bindel holds no particular post, how can that be anything other than a personal threat?
It is my belief that engagement, not disengagement is the way forward.... I can now see that any form of engagement with the likes of Bindel and Index on Censorship is impossible
Christ on a bike. If columnists for national newspapers who campaign for the legal status quo and Index on Censorship are so extreme you can't negotiate with them then society is fucked.
