This was an interesting read. It seems IW has taken to channeling Katie Hopkins. I'm not going to try and pull it apart as there is so so much wrong with it...

Is it bad that I find IW's casual sexism more annoying than being compared to fascists? I can shrug off a bit of offensive hyperbole but I'm irked at the patronising assumptions about what mothers talk about - with the accompanying subtext that we should refrain from serious discussion of policy and get back to the kitchen. Fuck that.

There is quite a lot about prams, I guess IW was confused because both the topics dedicated to small-person conveyances are called 'Pushchairs'.

It's so bloody sexist to think that large numbers of women chatting online will only be discussing prams or family related issues. The fact that they're either unaware or happy to drop their sexism so casually into an article like this is telling.

Well that is a load of disingenuous old bollocks:
A pending court case where a trans woman claims self defence? A defendant tried and found guilty of assault on a feminist protestor.

A hate group in Bristol and a confrontation? Bullying of a legitimate feminist discussion.
All we want is to use the correct bathroom? Transwomen, realistically, DID use women's spaces out of a sort of pragmatic courtesy until self-id proposed that anyone could do so at will- not tw like IW et al who actually live as women but men who may or may not have any genuine desire to be or present as a woman but may definitely have a genuine desire to access women's safe spaces.

Don't blame the current clusterfuck on feminists, blame extremists who demand insane leaps of ill faith like biology doesn't exist. Maybe IW should have listened to IWs initial instinct on self-id and used their influence to maintain the rights of EVERYONE in this hellish mess.

I’ll admit to not being great at history, but the Nuremberg rallies didn’t happen in pjs on my sofa with a glass or two of wine did they? Because if not, I can confirm MN isn’t anything like them.
