You apparently, from what I can gather, don't need to have any sort of sex change as such. You can "self ID".
If you're a woman, you're a woman. Even if that means you have the full tackle still.
Same with females but the other way - if lady says she's a man, she is a man. Regardless of being a biological woman inside.
There's even a word for biological women - cis. To differentiate, presumably, that you're a biological women.
Questioning this, actually saying "hang on a minute, biology is a thing...." nope. Not liked.Hence the whole uproar at the minute trying to get Self ID recognised.
