I like Jack. When you read her recipes, you get a much better sense of who she is as a person than twitter can ever give.

I thought her Monroe leaving twitter was an excellent idea. I wish one of her real life friends would urge her to do so.

I think Jack is one of those non-binary/agender wiffle waffles. She sorely tries my patience but I honestly do think her heart is in the right place. It's just a somewhat confused heart.

It appears she's lost it again. Calling anyone out for liking a tweet which highlights the very real problem of misogyny in The Labour Party is quite something. I genuinely have sympathy for her, she's very mixed up and struggles to remain stable.

Jack seems very unstable, to the point I reckon she might need professional help.

I don't gather from this tweet that she's now a man or trying to recruit JK Rowling.

It's a sad state of affairs all round as otherwise she's done pretty well for herself.

I thought trans meant you had picked one or the other, but no, I have now seen that trans is used to mean anyone who isn't 'cis'. Which is even more confusing than ever before.

Well to be honest, this describes my BFF's daughter. But she's only 17, and a very young 17 at that, soooooo........

FWIW I self identify as a very very pretty pony. And have done since I was a horse mad 4 year old. Just ask my mum who used to put up with me eating raw porridge oats and prancing around the living room making pony noises.

Jack Monroe does not identify as either gender, afaik, but is calling out JK for liking that tweet.

Jack Monroe reads MN, where a thread was started saying it’s possible JK is sympathetic to the women’s rights stuff being discussed.

Therefore, I think it likely JM saw it here first, perhaps, and is calling out JK as not sympathetic to trans people. Which seems unfair based on one like on one post about misogyny in the Labour Party.

And not too far from the TRA position of policing people’s opinions by stalking them!

If JK had tweeted something herself, rather than 1 like, that’s be different.

I like both of them. I think both could be allies if they were inclined.

Jack doesn’t like gender much, as far as I can tell. But obviously due to her experience she is more naturally going to side with trans as a position than with ‘cis’ women.

Jack came out as trans or gender neutral a while ago but uses female and gender neutral pronouns, which is their business.

Jack's calling out (although not very succinctly or funnily) the 'men in dresses comment', which whatever you views on trans issues, or misogyny in the Labour Party, is an offensive thing to say.
