sez - thank you. Really helpful. We are going on an all inclusive holiday for 2 weeks in July so no count could be good for that

Have you lost 10.5 stones?! That is amazing!

Paperdolly · 17/01/2018 23:57

Well. 1lb loss on first week. 😏. BUT. it's a loss and I don't feel as bloated as I did last week.

Will drink more water this week.

Well done

WasDoingFine · 18/01/2018 07:18

Have joined online. I'm not finding the app overly user friendly. I have done WW and SW many times over the years Blush . I don't seem to be able to keep within my daily points like others on here are.

KathyBeale · 18/01/2018 07:28

I am loving Flex. I have lost 5lb so far. I am veggie and the best thing about it is that pulses are free.

hellhasahancart · 18/01/2018 08:09

I think that’s great paperdolly Smile Saturday morning for me I normally wouldn’t share the details but I think if I do it may help me stay on track!

Does anyone know the thinking behind the points when you create a smoothie, yet the individual fruits and veg are free?

WasDoingFine · 18/01/2018 08:12

You're more likely to over eat when they are not in original form

Hi - I'm checking in, having just signed up this morning. I previously did Pro Points in 2016 and was happy with it, and we have just booked a holiday for early April so DH and I are both signed up and motivated.

I like the sound of the new system. I don't eat meat but find eggs very filling so I am thrilled they are zero, and salmon as well! We all like beans/lentils and Quorn in our house which are all zero as well (the pieces and mince), so I don't think we'll have much trouble. Good luck, everyone!

niknok69 · 18/01/2018 13:57

I'm looking to join this, can anyone tell me how it works please.

V111XKY · 18/01/2018 15:14

Top tip!! Halotop ice cream is on offer in Tesco for £2.50 a tub, I got peanut butter & cinnamon roll flavours, they are 12sp for the whole tub!! And to die for might make my dry weekend easier!!

Georgeofthejungle · 18/01/2018 16:22

Niknok - everything has a smart points value. You have a set amount of points to use a day/week. The List of zero point foods have recently been expanded to include lean proteins as well as still containing mostly all your fruit and veg

When you go to class or sign up it will tell you what your point allowance is and also have info on how much points things are x

I lost a pound 🤷‍♀️.. better than nothing .

V111XKY · 19/01/2018 07:52

Wish me luck! I've got family staying this weekend.(this is my downfall I'm A real social eater i live cooking) This usually means take aways /wine/ beer /chocolate calorie laden pulled pork or something "treaty". Not this time, I've meal planned for the whole weekend including low point desserts and table snacks. I've got my 32 weeklies left and intend to remain dry throughout to save my points. Stay strong weekend flexers!!!

acornsandnuts · 19/01/2018 07:54

I signed up on line on Sunday I’ve had quite a good week so far. I’m just a bit worried about the weekend as this is my usual downfall days. I’ve still got all my weeklys lest so hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy some wine without snacking the following day too much.

PurplePotatoes · 19/01/2018 10:48

Is there a thread anywhere where people are posting what they are eating on the flex plan ? Im struggling with it for some reason, strange as I've done WW before but have just come from SW and finding 23 pts hard to stick to. Like a pp I can see it getting a bit samey.

What are people having for breakfast ?
I really struggle to stomach fruit so early and don't have time to cook eggs etc at home before work.

Just need to get more organised I think!

PurplePotatoes · 19/01/2018 10:49

Also are there any good fb pages, Instagram accounts or blogs you are following for inspiration?! (I'm doing it online so no group to get ideas from)

stressbucket1 · 19/01/2018 11:41

Have you looked through the recipes on line? I have got a couple of ideas from that. I have been eating overnight oats for breakfast. Porridge oats with natural yog and fruit plus a bit of honey. I try and get lunch free so tuna salad with a boiled egg or zero point soup. Leaves plenty for dinner

sez49 · 19/01/2018 11:58

PurplePotatoes there’s a 7 day meal plan on the app and on the website. Directly under where your meals are on the main page of the app, there is a ‘See what’s new!’. Go into that. Lots of info there and part the way down the 7 day meal plan. Did see someone say earlier (on FB) that they get a weekly plan by email. Not seen that myself, but may be worth looking at. Several FB groups. Even though I usually point, I follow a great No Count group (WW - No Count Friends). There is a Flex group which I believe was set up by some coaches (WW Smart
Points Flex UK). There are several more that may be joining.

PurplePotatoes · 19/01/2018 13:28

Thanks I'll have a look at those , I just need to get back into it again and have some time to sit and look online.

sportyfool · 19/01/2018 13:33

It's always the weekend that does it isntit 😬😬
