Morning all.
New thread for weigh in Friday.
Old one taking forever to load.

Was SO bad last night. Fancied a glass of Rose wine so bought a nice bottle thinking DH would have it with me. He didn't. I had it all. Whole bottle. Dinner was actually fine - steak, a sausage, salad and a piece of halloumi. But then I had a mini magnum. And then drunken hunger kicked in when DH and DS had gone to bed. Had a packet crisps. A cheese sandwich . And another sodding magnum .

However. The good news is that I weighed and still managed to lose. Only a pound but at least i lost.

thanks cheesy. I found the food standards agency one for BMI and whatnot. Will have a look @ food focus.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 27/06/2010 21:44

Hi all

NDP - well done!

Buda - just chicken was OK, could've been worse

Well, I did my run! And better yet, I did it in 28 minutes!!!!!! So much better than the race for life one - 6 minutes better in fact!

But then there was a huge hill at RFL, so that would've been it!

Had a picnic afterwards, some turkey & salad, had a spoonful of stuffing & 2 chocolate finger biscuits and a loop the loop ice lolly

BudaisintheZONE · 28/06/2010 09:17

Well done Fairhaired. Great result - 28 mins is fab.

Well. Didn't find zone yesterday. Was bad. Lots of bread.

But am DEFINITELY zoning today. Am about to go for walk. DS is coming on his scooter.

I need to catch up! I want all those amazing results too! Hello ladies. I used to use weightlossresources too, and I think it is a really good website, I just found it very time consuming: counting calories, weighing food. But I still do have a membership, as occasional check on calories, etc is good. Plus I like logging in my weigh-in results there!

So, I am starting my healthy regime today. Both me and hubby. I hope it works, as we opted for self-styled at the end, which basically means portion control, no sweets and healthy food. Hope to be posting some good results soon .

looneymum · 28/06/2010 10:04

Hello All. Sorry posted last week and as usual all sorts of horror seems to kick off! Thanks Bud for all your support and questions. In brief, I don't know why I am binging again. Life very stressful which seemed to stop that before but now seems to have me reaching for the vino and salty snacks!

I liked the bread stick hummous idea but am struggling with portion control... would probs eat whole pack of both! Have done exercises this morning, situps and leg/bum exercises that make for super burn so hopefully will keep the wolf from the door. It's not enough though cause when the munchies strike I feel possessed!

On hols in 16 days and may need extra seat for tummy! Hope it's a good week for you all. xx

dinkystinky · 28/06/2010 10:39

Morning all. Have day off today as is my 7th wedding anniversary. DH bought me a lovely polartec heart monitor/watch thingy which used at the gym today - I love it. And we're off to the River Cafe for lunch today. I fear biffing will ensue - but hey, its a once a year thing.

Have a good day in the sun all.

looneymum · 28/06/2010 10:48

Hi DS. Congrats and enjoy the sun and your lovely lunch. xx

dinkystinky · 28/06/2010 10:57

Looneymum - I also struggle with portion control. Best thing is either buy those tiny houmous tubs (you know, 3 tiny tubs) and only allow yourself one of those (then you cant biff out too much) and stick to crudites rather than breadsticks (will fill you up more than bread sticks). Well done for doing your exercises and keep it. Also, try and drink loads of water between meals - will help flush out your system, get your skin looking great and ironically reduce water retention.

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/06/2010 11:34

Hi gals

You are zoning so beautifully I almost didn't recognise any of you.

I had to momentarily step out of the zone to do some serious carb biffage before the big half marathon on Saturday. I survived.

Now I can rezone. Ohhhhmmmmmmmm

Cyb did you get your office Bite Me sandals? I've missed out on the grey am thinking about the black. Are they fab?

Quality · 28/06/2010 13:31

Well done FF and tmam!
6 minutes is HUGE ff, how did you do tmam?

Out of zone momentarily over weekend while we had friends here, not too bad though, sat had bbq, meat and salad, and some fake pimms, sunday had baguette, cookies and crisps, mmmm, suffering today though.
Did no exercise bar gentle stroll round the park adn feel bleurgh but took DD1 to docs this morning as her cough is waking us all up at night, and the doctor demanded I weigh myself so she could compare with my notes as she was most impressed with how I looked

Thanks for all praise! bad side effect is that I now only have 1 pair of jeans and 2 pairs of leggings that fit. everything else makes me look huge as it is so baggy.
Luckiyl, next month there is a clothes swap thing at the museum, so am going to see if I can swap out my biff clothes for lovely size 16's, need to drop a dress size in a month, lets go!

MamaG · 29/06/2010 06:58

cocolepew · 29/06/2010 07:25

Howdy losers, I'm still (sort of) zoning and haven't got fat again.

I've been playing with the puppy doing important RL stuff and haven't logged on for weeks

Will make more of an effort, I finish work tomorrow for the summer (woo-hoo!) so will have time to kill (ha!).

Quality · 29/06/2010 09:32

cornsilk5793 · 29/06/2010 09:34

I have had 2 french fancies and a bowl of weetabix. Is that bad? They were yellow ones if that helps. (not the weetabix)

cornsilk5793 · 29/06/2010 09:35

quality what's the interview for?

Quality · 29/06/2010 10:01

2 french fancies? for breakfast?

cornsilk5793 · 29/06/2010 10:01

thanks. I needed that.

CheeeseOnToast · 29/06/2010 10:04

wotcha lads

Feeling good today. Feel like I've lost centimetres. Wearing a shortish skirt today, and a vest top, and have already had three compliments. I even seem to have got over my 'big knee' paranoia syndrome.

I've been eating cottage cheese and wholemeal crackers for lunch at work, with two plums usually. And a 1.5l bottle of water throughout the day, then a bit more water when I get home. Need to step it up though if I want a loss on Friday, feel like I'm just coasting. Although the jeans are telling me good things

Ooh Q, I'm orf to have a read of your interview thread, see if I can help...

Quality · 29/06/2010 10:33

arf at 'big knee'
cottage cheese and crackers good, but if you had a big salad with cottage cheese and more protein it would be better...although clothes are best measure, well done!

DastardlyandSmugly · 29/06/2010 10:41

OK I bought The Shred, did it last night, feel like I've been run over today!

QualityTime · 29/06/2010 10:55

yup, now do it again!

MamaG · 29/06/2010 11:04

Q you are one scary mo fo

QualityTime · 29/06/2010 12:10

Your new name will be QualitysBitch if you keep up that attitude.
What exercise are you doing? I am not shredding so much, am varying it with pilates type stretches, taebo + running.

dinkystinky · 29/06/2010 12:59

Keep up shredding Dastardly - pain shows you're using your muscles! It will get easier in about 8 days time - just in time for you to move to level 2 and keep challenging those muscles Welcome back BlobbaG (like the new name suggestion? ) and Coco - nice to see you on. Has been v quiet on here of late without you two around.

Love my new heart monitor - told me I burned nearly 400 cals in this morning's circuit class. Now just need to ensure I dont eat the deficit I've created.

Cheese - well done on the compliments and listening to your trousers Fingers crossed for you for Friday. Have just come on so expecting a gain on Friday as a result of that and a biffilicious lunch yesterday (though only had fruit salad and a G&slimline tonic for dinner to atone for my biffing so hopefully evened out).

BudaisintheZONE · 29/06/2010 17:05

It's not going well here.

Trying to be in zone but keep having bad things. Went to zoo today and ended up having chicken burger and fries. And an ice cream. Have decided to just add to it all and have fish and chips for dinner and then be really good from tomorrow.

Tried on some size 22s stuff in Debenhams. Too big!!!!!

Hi coco! Glad to see you.

And MamaG. Like Dinky's suggestion for your new name!!

Mind you I will be Budaisabigfatblob if I carry on the way I am. Have been walking though.
