Morning all.
New thread for weigh in Friday.
Old one taking forever to load.

Was SO bad last night. Fancied a glass of Rose wine so bought a nice bottle thinking DH would have it with me. He didn't. I had it all. Whole bottle. Dinner was actually fine - steak, a sausage, salad and a piece of halloumi. But then I had a mini magnum. And then drunken hunger kicked in when DH and DS had gone to bed. Had a packet crisps. A cheese sandwich . And another sodding magnum .

However. The good news is that I weighed and still managed to lose. Only a pound but at least i lost.

No, no - don't worry - we're pretty sporadic.

Looks like you're doing lots of lovely exercise. Not sure about the occasional biscuit and the 'tatos in the evening, though [only saying this because she is bitter and jealous emoticon] but if you're finding you're maintaining, then what the hell!

How preachy are you being? Are you striding up to people and batting the donuts out of their hands as they're about to take a bite?

Weighed myself post hols. Turns out lolling by the pool drinking weird cocktails and stuffing peanuts in your gob isn't zoning after all

Have gained about 4 unwanted lbs

Welcome back into the fray, cyb!

Just got back from a 5k run (weigh in tomorrow!). Found the circuit they use for the 5k 'Park Run' www.parkrun.com round Crystal Palace Park so used that - it's a double circuit and it was HARD! I really pushed myself and only had to stop a couple of times after the really steep bits.

I have to stop smoking.

I have sort of found the food zone after piling on 3 lbs. MIL still in comaSad no end in sight.
Sinus infection nearly gone so will start exercising again soon.
Just keeping thread on my active.

I exercised HARD yesterday and today and was repaid with a chronic migraine half way though getting my barnet blow dried! Not drinking enough, clearly (water, I mean)

Have to go back tomorrow so she can finish chopping into it...I abandoned it half way through

am trying to catch up, one thing I spotted, mamadiva there are a few of us with a lot to lose, I started 17st4, original target 16, am now 15st 7ish but no idea what I am aiming for tbh. Size 14 woudl make me cryGrin

Do we need zoney tips/rules for noobs?

Anyone fancy a new thread for weigh in tomorrow and starting 'afresh' as we all seem to be coming back/ending hols/starting new.

I've been looking bloody everywhere for that big list of rules - you know - the one which includes 'will it make me happy?' I've searched and searched and looked through seemingly bloody THOUSANDS of 'Nothing tastes as good' pages and I can't find them. Aaargh! Help!

Precis:

  1. No crap. No. None - not even a little. PUT DOWN THE BUN. CHIPS ARE EVIL. STEP AWAY FROM THE BOOZE
  2. No refined carbs like white flour (bread, pasta, biscuits, cake, etc)
  3. No/minimal carbs of any kind in the evening
  4. Lots of fresh veg, fruit, and lean protein
  5. Proper breakfast
  6. Lots and lots of water
  7. No mercy. Lardarse biffers get shouted at

Sound roughly right?

I started 15 stone 6 and obese, now I'm 30lbs down since March and 13 stone 4 - a way to go still but now I'm a size 16 and about a thousand times happier than I was. Zoning works.

Hello. Having real problems with internet connection on holiday so I will be brief as I have written this countless times and lost the connection.

I have not seen the rules before but I have never been good at following rules - i'm not low carbing as a veggie but am trying to eat well.

Managed another run today - my third this holiday so pleased with that. However dd and I did have the most gorgeous portion of chips on the seafront this afternoon. No scales on holiday so will face them on Sunday when im home.
