Thrifty you might like Kamut 'cos the bread is almost like wheat; I add rice flour to make it less wet; just one slowish rising, and it needs no kneading!!

Hi found this thread through a google search - anyone still here?

After seeing a nutritional therapist last weekend I have spent the week - wheat free, dairy free, caffeine free, sugar free!!

Surprised there was anything left to eat or drink to be honest but after a few headachey days i feel a lot better with a lot more energy!

Substituted bread for spelt melba toast and oatcakes, ate loads of fruit, seeds and nuts - but i haven't lost a single pound yet!! This has disappointed me as i have been eating so healthily but maybe i am having too many carbs in the ricecakes etc...Although i don't feel as bloated as before

Can i sign up for ebook? Think i'm doing something wrong

Thanks

Any tips appreciated!! :)

Hello bratalie I think the oatcakes have palm oil in them a nono on Isabel. i have gained on it so gone back on Paul McKenna (I eat like it anyway for health)!

Hi I was wondering if anyone was still keeping this up?

I think I lost about 3lbs pre-holiday which was enough to make me feel a bit better about the beach, but of course I gained it back at the buffet!

I seem to have got back into the expectation of having something sweet after meals (and in between with a tea or coffee!), but I'm hoping that when the banoffee pie sitting in the fridge is finished I'll get back to the spelt bread and no sugar or processed foods.

Whatswrong maybe they're on holiday? i've lost again by not eating after7.30 then my DH started making a just protein and veg (no carbs} after 8 and it's gone up again Grin
