Beauregard · 10/08/2009 21:26

Right just in from work and eaten my tea.

Forgot to weigh myself this morning so will do tommorrow.

Drinks so far-3 pints of water and 2 Red Bulls(not ideal but got me through work)

Breakfast-1 Piece of toast with marmite

Lunch-1 tin of ww tomato soup and 2 slices of bread with marg.1 packet of low fat soya bites.

Snack-1 nectarine

Dinner-Quorn lasagne with mixed salad and 2 spoons of light salad cream

I might have a skinny cow lolly or a small bowl of shredded wheat in a while.

Does this sound too much?

PatTheHammer · 11/08/2009 08:37

Morning, Well done Pelvic, sounds a spot on amount to me!

Dog- Eat some lunch woman, you don't want your body in starvation mode or you won't burn calories efficiently. Your dinner sounds delicious.

Lenni- Hope you put yourself on the naughty step for that cake Have a feeling I'll be on there soon!

Just had my toast and a small bowl of fruit and fibre with skimmed milk. Having first cup of tea, really need to buy some calorie free sparkling water or something......so bored of tea!

Ok. So t'was a disaster. Yesterday I had

4 choc digestives at 3am
2 granary bread with peanut butter and jam [but was organic so thats ok ] and tea
Toasted sandwich of chicken and ham [550 cal] and xlarge bucket size skinny latte [costa £5 deal bargain]
mouthful coke
cup of tea
halfpounder burger and chips at midnight after A&E run, from pizza place

Walked to and from town in the early afternoon, about 20 mins each wat

Not eaten yet today, but had cuppa with 2 sugars.

Think my trick will be stop gaining weight before I loose it!

Am 14st2lbs or 90kg on the nose. BMI 28

qumps · 11/08/2009 11:32

Tree you are allowed to write yesterday off. Also stress always the best way to lose weight so I am sure Hatts is taking off a few pounds for you.
Other tips:
No carbs in the evening. We are doing this at the moment at dh's suggestion for rugby. I thought it would be hell but actually it's ok. I have lost a few pounds through doing this and it makes me feel much less bloated.
Portion control also really important. Veg the bulk of your meal, then protein and finally carbs. Wholemeal obviously better as keeps you fuller for longer as harder to break down.
Exercise wise you need to raise your heart rate but not too high to fat burn. Fats walking perfect which is great for all of us with buggies.
Will think of some more and get back to you.
Have good days all.
Oh mum and dad have bought some donuts which are staring at me form the kicthen table...

qumps · 11/08/2009 12:32

Lol at myself. Not fats walking - fast!

treedelivery · 11/08/2009 14:35

Have food!

Grazer box arrived and saved me from chocolate mini rolls, and Hatts suddenly agreed to be put in jumperoo fro 5 mins.

So having a tinof mixed bean salad, 300 cal and 10 tonnes of salt. Graze box of hazelnuts, dried whole plums and grapes. Wish I could get one of these more often.

The code 1DMZC9TB will get you one for £1, I'd suggest asking for it to arrive on a busy day or problem snacking day. It might tempt you away!

Ok then, Today I have had:

1 Slice Granary toast and spread
I small bowl Fruit and fibre w skimmed milk
Glass apple juice
1 Houmous and salad wrap
1 Orange
1 huge mixed fruit salad
Half fruit pastille ice lolly
Pineapple chunks
2 pieces of Chicken that Z didn't want
Veg stir-fry with Egg noodles
1 Fat-free Rachel's Raspberry yoghurt.
3 cups Pep tea
1 glass squash.

Exercise: Walked miles round the adventure park and clambered over soft-play!

feel really well today, know its only 2 days but I think my body is liking the lack of cheese and stodge

Tree-was tempted by those boxes for when back at work, could order for a thursday to take in on friday when I invariably have nothing fresh left to take in for lunch and end up eating cake!

Qumps-Thanks for the tips, no carbs in the evening after what time?? I generally don't have dinner till 7.30pm, is this too late?

Tink-You are addicted to chocolate girl!

Dog- Thanks for pointing me in the recipe direction, didn't know that bit existed, how fab!

qumps · 11/08/2009 19:50

No carbs after 6! Must eat some during the day though otherwise you eat rubbish.
Pat you sound really motivated an are doing brilliantly.
I have had a good day and been to the gym. Turned down 2 lots of sweet things which I never do so feeling quite proud of myself.
Weetabix, banana, wholemeal tuna sweetcorn pasta, hot cross bun, home made burger and salad, 2 squares of g&b.
Grazer thing sounds interesting. Where is it from?

stripeywoollenhat · 11/08/2009 19:52

exercise: does phoning the gym count?

breakfast: 2 weetabix with a banana and ss milk. cup of black coffee. (this is what i almost always have for breakfast)
lunch: two slices of toast, poached egg, piece of cheese, piece of melon.
snack : pear, slice of bread and butter.
three cups of tea with ss milk during the day.
having pasta and tomato sauce for dinner and a glass of wine.

bit about the bread and butter snack, must get something slightly more virtuous in. it was brown bread though...

LenniEd · 11/08/2009 21:16

Pat - you do indeed sound really motivated, well done you.

Stripey - Your day looks good dietwise too, gawd I would like that list today!

Not so bad here today, avoided cake - yay! Did have a digestive biscuit but I am in the midst of visitors so doing my best honest. Will go into full diet mode tomorrow once they go and start recording everything when have time to get on here. Am missing MN

Hi all

Sounds like everyone has done good today.

Well i was pleasantly suprised when i weighed myself today (less than i thought)
13 st 3 but in my defence i am 6ft 2

Embarrasingly today i have eaten exactly the same as i ate yesterdayi like to play safe with my food as i have a few phobias.
3 pints water,2 cups of tea(with sugar but only because my employer doesnt have sweetner)

Exercise wise i have spent all afternoon pushing my client round in his wheelchair.Must count for something.

stripeywoollenhat · 11/08/2009 21:37

i'm hungry

Beauregard · 11/08/2009 21:39

Fruit or cereal maybe stripey?

LenniEd · 11/08/2009 21:42

What is your BMI then Pelvic? Can't be too high with you being tall. Am certain wheelchair pushing counts. Be interested to hear about your phobias.

Stripey - yoghurt?

OP posts:
treedelivery · 11/08/2009 21:45

I'm 5ft 10

Your bmi must be in healthy range I think. Yay!

Diet gone...er....well, yes, gone.

Dh made me chicken and wedges, complete with sour cream dip, with HagD choc icecream.

ooops!

PatTheHammer · 11/08/2009 21:51

Tree Think the diet police will let you off with hatts being ill and all that!

Stripey Have a low-fat yoghurt or some fruit? Or a cup of tea? I ALWAYS feel hungry after a pasta meal, really going to try and cut back and perhaps buy wholewheat pasta as may be more filling. You have had a good day!

Blimey I'm only 5ft 5 and a bit . Your BMI must be fine pelvic, d'ya just have wobbly bits?

Lenni doing well with visitors is hard. We can excuse one biccy!

Qumps check you out at the gym! If only

treedelivery · 11/08/2009 21:54

Stripey - mn till your eyes bleed, take mind off food? Get involved in a good AIBU? Do not look in recipe section.
