And beans

stripeywoollenhat · 09/08/2009 20:47

okay, am aiming for a stone by my birthday (end september) - not sure how i'm going to measure it though as we don't have a weighing scales. i'm going to take the no sugar approach, plus a spot of gym joining.

LenniEd · 09/08/2009 20:50

Won't they have scales at the gym?

Tree, tomorrow I am going to have 1 slice of Granary toast rather than 2 and some fat-free blueberry Yeo Valley Yoghurt. And probably some melon. I think I may need to cut out fruit juce too.......drinking loads at the moment!

treedelivery · 09/08/2009 20:57

Hello Dolly. Congats on your baby!

One slice?

Can I have another when I'm hungry?

PatTheHammer · 09/08/2009 20:59

Tree, I know....I usually have 2 and a huge bowl of cereal,

Hi Dol1y, congrats on your DD and welcome to the club

Beauregard · 09/08/2009 21:01

Does anyone else find that they stick to eating healthily all week and then lose all willpower at the weekend?
I feel quite desperate about it tbh.
I shall be trying to fit in as much exercise as poss once i am 100 percent(recovering from swine flu)

treedelivery · 09/08/2009 21:01

Dol1y! Sorry

Am hungry thinking about breakfast, even though I'm eating.

LenniEd · 09/08/2009 21:01

Hello Dolly, obviously fate to find us then.

I'm going to start out by cutting down on the sugary junk I eat - less cake, chocolate and biscuits. And am going to try and walk a mile each day with the DCs, even if it ends up being slow toddler in pushchair and baby in sling walking with stops to rest look at nature.

treedelivery · 09/08/2009 21:02

exercise?

LenniEd · 09/08/2009 21:06

I'm good until about 2pm and then the sugar cravings get me. Weekends are usually a total write off - with you on that. What are you called for short btw - Pelvic/PFNM??

OP posts:
Beauregard · 09/08/2009 21:09

Pelvic

PatTheHammer · 09/08/2009 21:13

Walk sounds lovely Lenni. Think I'll do one tomorrow after housework and shops.

Tree- I am just like that, thinking about eating even whilst still eating. Been blaming the BFing a huge baby but maybe I'm just greedy!

Boo for Swine Flu Pelvic! Hope it wasn't too bad for you.

dol1y · 09/08/2009 21:20

Thanks for the kind welcome.

Weekends and evenings are my worst times. I just end up eating portions that are way too big. I've lost weight and kept it off previously with the GI diet but what I'm lacking at the moment is motivation. So tomorrow... no slobbing around and will get out and about with the pram for a couple of hours at least. Perhaps some energetic housework with some music and a bewildered dd watching me as I prance around - singing along to keep her entertained.

I imagine the horror of committing to text the things that pass my lips might just keep me on the straight and narrow....

Pat-Wasnt as bad as i thought but still pretty horrid .

treedelivery · 09/08/2009 21:40

Pelciv - I've had too. Not great really, but not as bad as regular flu I found.

Right. Will walk to and from town tomorrow. It's only going to add up to 2 miles but all helps. Hope Hats doesn't scream whole way there in pram!

PatTheHammer · 09/08/2009 22:01

Oh Lenni, just remembered by looking at the list that Dylan and Zach were 7 months on friday! Hope you had a good 7 monthday

oneopinionatedmother · 09/08/2009 22:35

DS 9 th jan -1 stone .

double buggy = hard. mine weighs a ton.
I am going on a 2.5 mile walk (measured on google Earth - handy eh?)during nap time (and being moody with husband in evening as consequence of no nap for me) Currently the graco three wheeler is good for other walks cos the toddler can balance on the front wheel (nice and light)

am going to wedding at end of august and really want to look good. BFing big baby, but he's losing interest - i get three good feeds a day into him, that's it. I find BBQ season hard as DH likes to do sausages, burgers, steaks and ribs. Even eating one of each makes a big meal.

treedlivery - isn't it hard midwifing on a diet cos everyone ofers you biscuits?
