My resolve is slipping.

i never ate breakfast until i got pregnant...

my house is full of chocolate cake, dp baking a fiftieth birthday cake for a friend and there's a broken, unusable but completely delicious layer sitting on a wire tray in my kitchen.

so, dinner yesterday was thai prawn salad to start, roast veg (skipped the lamb) and then greengage tarte tatin. two glasses of wine.

today, slice of toast, boiled egg, banana, black coffee for breakfast.
lunch: tomato soup and a slice of bread and butter.
afternoon tea: half a glass of champagne and a slice of coffee and walnut cake
dinner: salmon risotto and a half a glass of red wine. two (!) slices of chocolate cake blush]

i can't guarantee there won't be more incidents with chocolate cake this evening, either

Beauregard · 14/08/2009 22:06

Justcallmedog-I used to always feel sick in the morning the same as you and never ate breakfast. It stopped a few years back, strange that.

Your right i shall enjoy tomorrow night as i hardly ever go anywhere.

Stripey-Cake sounds yum pass us a piece lol.

LenniEd · 14/08/2009 22:17

Oh heck, I've had a washout too. I resolve to do better. You lot need to keep me on a shorter leash!

Pelvic enjoy your night out - Pat said we could have a treat night and still be on a diet and Stripey I think it would have been a worse crime not to eat the cake - but that is probably why I need to diet

My crimes today are:

Breakfast: Scrambled egg (just one)
Lunch: 1 slice marmite on toast
Bowl of pea soup and a chunk of wholemeal bread
Natural yoghurt with blueberries
Crunchie - swapped for home grown tomatoes in village shop, was thrust upon me, couldn't refuse
Tea: sunblush tomato risotto yum, another chunk of bread
DD's leftover gingerbread man and have been eating DH's M&M's this evening while MNing. Total write off. Not fallen off the wagon though, virtual slaps welcome.

Right, lenni has lost 10 housepoints for the crunchie and M&Ms.

Stripey, good restraint with your meal last night earns you 10points but unfortunately I need to deduct 20points for the cake situation! So you are on minus 10!

Pelvic, mixed day but you are hormonal. Lose 10 points for the caramel digestives and the curly wurly. But enjoy your night tomorrow!

Dog, You have earnt 20 housepoints for a flawless day, well done! What a swot

Did we all fall off the bandwagon yesterday??????????????

I had:

half piece of toast (major bread shortage!)
small bowl F&F with skimmed milk

2 cups of camomile tea

BBQ food: 2 Quorn burgers, I roll, 2 new pots, salad, I slice cheese, cous-cous, Veg crudites and tzatziki, roasted veg kebab, salsa and 1 small serving of trifle .

Also had 2 diet lemonades and an orange juice.

Could have been worse as I resisted: coleslaw, potato salad, pasta salad, crisps, choc cake and cheesecake, wine and all sorts of delicious things!

Today we have YET ANOTHER BBQ!!!!!!!!

treedelivery · 16/08/2009 13:38
