'Lo everyone and welcome newbies.

Boden at your diet of wispa and crisps and losing 2.5 lbs!!! Well done

So today:

1 bowl muesli and ss milk
half crumpet
2 cups pep tea
grapes and melon, half a peach low fat yoghurt (before i got mobbed by children and had to share)
I slice of granary toast and Nutella
2 haddock fishcakes, 4 small new pots and veg
Blueberries.

Been very busy so not much time for eating.
exercise: walked into town to get hair done and walked back. Walked to park and back this afternoon.

120cms: we do weigh-ins on a monday and then just do whatever works for you, recording your food for the day and exercise on here. I am cutting out cheese and cakes and trying to eat mainly fruit/veg/salad at every meal. Some are doing slimming world or trying to cut carbs. Up to you, just share experience to boost morale!

Beauregard · 25/08/2009 21:07

x post pat

PatTheHammer · 25/08/2009 21:07

Oh no, whats she done Pelvic??

Beauregard · 25/08/2009 21:13

She went hurtling down the hill on the road about 100 mile an hour and flew off her scooter. She is very sore ,cut her knee, grazed and bruised everywhere and luckily her she had jeans on which are now in the bin.

PatTheHammer · 25/08/2009 21:18

Oh poor love, I hate that when they get all bruised, how old is she? My DD is the worlds clumsiest child and always covered, makes me look a terrible mother.

Hope she is ok, that must of been scary!

Now eat something missus, will help stop the queasy feeling.

Beauregard · 25/08/2009 21:25

She is 7 Pat
still thinking what to have to eat ...

Beauregard · 25/08/2009 21:27

Dp was scared and said he saw her go and chased after her with dd2.Think they all had the shakes.

PatTheHammer · 25/08/2009 21:28

Ahhh, my DD only 3 so many more yeasr of clumsiness left I see.

Cereal or something quick like pasta? Or is it you who doesn't like sloppy food? Maybe a jacket spud or that old standby.....toast?

Beauregard · 25/08/2009 21:53

Many more pat

Thanks for the suggestions, i just had wholegrain rice with cherry tomatoes and a few beans.

120cms · 25/08/2009 21:55

Ok. weigh in 80.5 kgs.

1 scrambled egg
1 marmite muffin
1/2 banana
3 spoons of DS weaning stuff (can't remember what)
1/2 bowl DD's brocolli soup
big plate of ricotta and spinach cannelloni and salads with seeds.
on 2nd glass of red
1 more cookie (well, they are homemade!)

furrymonster · 25/08/2009 22:12

EEK! this is scary!

2 slices low cal wholemeal toast and marmite,
Toastie with cheese, spinich, red pepper, mushroom, olives, garlic sauce and mango chutney.

Loads of "no added sugar" squash.
1 glass orange juice.

120cms · 25/08/2009 22:14

lol furry, I'm feeling a bit better now!

120cms · 25/08/2009 22:15

does walking two miles with the kids in the pram count as exercise?

furrymonster · 25/08/2009 22:23

I should certainly hope so! Most of my exersize is walking with buggy.

OMG how much cheese did I have today!

pass me a cookie 120, I may as well!

120cms · 26/08/2009 20:27

Just sitting here waiting for DP to come back with our organic box, smelling the carbonara on the stove and admiring your toastie furry. Do you have one of those machines?

Today I've merely mooched round a city farm with the P&T but got the bus there and back. Tomorrow will be a big one.

food tally:
cheese sandwich
4 biscuits
bagel
americano
hopefull spaghetti carbonara with seeds and salad and a couple of glasses of red wine shortly. not as bad as yesterday!

Gumps · 26/08/2009 21:02

Just popped in to say I am giving myself another week of leave as dh off so we are eating out lots.
If i'm not back and commited next week, Pat knows who I am and can come and get me!

LenniAgain · 26/08/2009 21:16

Dh going away for 5 days from tomorrow so am going to get myself organised and menu plan etc. and DD, DS and I are going walking everyday as someone has to walk the dogs in DH's absence. Think it is the incentive I need to get in the zone. Sounds like you lot are already there. Am very cross with myself for not getting in the right mindset at start of this thread. Lost time.

I know where to find you to Gumps [evil cackle]

Beauregard · 26/08/2009 21:16

1 slice of toast with marmite

sandwhich with extra light philedelphia and cucumber and mug of ww tomato soup

Quorn cottage pie with carrots and green beans and gravy

Bag soya bites

Gonna have a yogurt with granola

Anyone else been really hungry today? my stomach was hurting i was so hungry at work, maybe it's the weather?

Beauregard · 26/08/2009 21:17

Remember Gumps we are watching you

Mwah ha ha ha ha .....................

oneopinionatedmother · 26/08/2009 21:29

humm.not a bad day

porridge - small bowl

lunch - olive bap with olive salad & soft cheese (yummy)

dinner - fish fingers, brocolli & spud
1/4 choccie sponge (shop bought, much less fatyy than my one).

if it wasn't for the pint of milk i drink in the ten cups of tea i need to get through drink every day, I'd probably be getting somewhere.

@patthehammer - i think kids with bruises have more fun. I remember being proud of looking like Mr Bump. congratulate yourself as 'not risk-averse'

maybe i should weigh myself...can't. Scared.

PatTheHammer · 26/08/2009 21:56

Ok, my big discovery is 'food focus' website. it is free to register and I have only been doing it today and I am hooked! Another MNer at a meet up the other week told me about it and I only just bothered to look today but its great! You input details and it gives you a timeplan for your weight loss. I have chosen the 2 lb a week plan but should lose more as am Bfing. You log all food and exercise and it does the rest for you. Even got DH doing it and he thinks its great .

Anyway today:

1 bowl F&F skimmed milk, 1 Slice toast and spread
2 cups tea
Handful Blueberries
greek salad and small piece garlic bread (rest went to DS and DD!)
Handful walnuts and grapes, piece of bread
Fat-free strawberry yoghurt, melon and strawberries.

and 1 hour of swimming for exercise!

Food focus reliably informs me I have only eaten 889 calories today....its so clever!

Good days by everyone else. Gumps, you are excused to have fun. Have a large glass of white for me .

LenniAgain · 26/08/2009 21:58

Wow - sounds amazing. Off to sign up now. Thanks Pat
