I'm getting back on the wagon tomorrow

Congratulation on your weight loss Pat

And Tree/Pelvic your sound like you are both doing well. Tree that really isn't a huge amount of food... admittedly not a lot of it healthy, but still not a huge amount.

Okay, weighed in this morning and much to my dismay am still 11st10 after couple of weeks of trying to lose weight. .

By Monday weigh in hope to lose a couple of pounds, so here goes....(again..!)

So Far

Breakfast - smoothie
Lunch - chickpea & spinach curry
snack - few strawberries/bluberries

If I ate any less I would faint

Been on a bike ride with dd, about a mile.

PatTheHammer - sounds like your dh being very supportive! Now thinking about bacon.....mmmm

Beauregard · 19/08/2009 21:01

Hi

Rawchocolate-It is very disheartening when you dont lose anything.Usually happens to me or i gain it??

Breakfast-1 slice toast and marmite

Lunch-Lettuce and small amount of wedsleydale and cranberry cheese sandwhich andr a bag of soya bites

Dinner-2 new potatoes,3 broccoli florets ,a parsnip and a carrot with parsley sauce(made with water)

I left most of my dinner as i am not feeling too well tonightI have a knot in my stomach like i have been punched as i'm so anxious.I couldn't sleep last night because of it and had another bad day today.

Beauregard · 19/08/2009 21:01

Meant to say i have been walking again this afternoon.

PatTheHammer · 19/08/2009 22:10

Oh no Pelvic, hope the anxiety not over anything major. Good day diet wise, hope you get some sleep!

Not a great day here:

Breakfast: 1 x toast and spread, 1 bowl of muesli (Damn that delicious Dorset Cereals), fruit.
2 cups of pep tea

Lunch: Houmous and salad wrap, fruit and Hula-hoops

Snacks: Grapes and cucumber, 2 glasses apple juice and 2 glasses squash

Dinner: Prawn and noodle stir-fry and BGTY strawberry trifle.

Also nibbled some kids leftovers at teatime.....stop that now!

Beauregard · 19/08/2009 22:46

Thanks pat.
What you have eaten is all good anyway ,well except the Hoola Hoops

Just had a ww choc pud also.

newspaperdelivery · 20/08/2009 01:05

Hope you're ok? Awful feeling, I used to know it well but have shaken it off. I hear ya!

Today:

Can't remember anything till 3pm [dd1 ill, life chaos]
Toasted white bagel with ham and marg.
Maybe teaspoon of toasted mixed seeds [yay for Graze.com]
Few dried cherries [see above re Graze]
10 choc coated nuts [see above]
.5 litre fruit juice
4 cups tea
individual cheesecake [about to scoff now]

ok day, though obviously poor diet as per usual. Better though - at least seeds good.

PatTheHammer · 20/08/2009 20:22

Jeepers Newspaper; how are you surviving on a few handfuls of seeds, nuts and fruit!!!!!!!!!

Must write mine down before I forget:

Breakfast: Half piece toast with spread (guess who had the other half??). Bowl muesli with ss milk. fat-free Rhubarb yoghurt.Orange juice

Lunch: Houmous and salad pitta bread, grapes and raspberries.

3 cups of pep tea

Dinner: Salmon with lemon and parsley crust and big salad. then bowl of blueberries with fat-free vanilla yoghurt.

No snacks today, probably because my meals have been so large .

Decided on a new tactic that has worked well in the past. Dug out a pair of 'target trousers' that I aim to fit into soon. Going to try them on each week to show progress. today I could get them over my arse but could not do them up. Aim to do them up and then possibly wear them when they don't give a huge camel toe and make me look like I have two bellies side-by-side!

Then got a pair of 'target jeans' when the trousers fit. My 'target dress' is hanging in the wardrobe and I intend to wear to DH's christmas do (some 2 stone down the line)

RawChocolate · 20/08/2009 21:11

Like the idea of the target trousers Pat. Most of my wardrobe is target clothes! What is your dress like? Am looking for an incentive dress to treat myself if I ever lose 2 stone. Looks like you've done really well today Pat.

Break - ceral ss milk
lunch - pizza and lots of salad
snack - pizza
Tea - half a burger and loads of veg.

Hope you're having a better day pelvic, appreciate the empathy, it is so disheartening and I know losing weight isn't a big deal in the scheme of things, but still makes you feel bit rubbish.

Onwards and upwards!

xx

newspaperdelivery · 20/08/2009 21:47

Pat - so healthy.

Am so ashamed. dd1 bit better so more food eaten.

Steak Pastry pie thingie [df]
Ham sandwich on white [df]
4-ish crisps [df]
wedge half homemade bannana bread [dairy free]
burger and chips. [df]

God I'm living on crap. Will do better when kids better and dd2 is easier as a baby. At least the threas buddies can back me : dd2 has been a...er....challenge

Note the total lack of calcium inm y bfing life

Am back on the vitamins, dairy content or no.
DD2 is cows milk protein intolerant btw, if anyone doesn't know. Think whole of mn know as I have prattled on for 6 months! I sneak in the odd bit aka cheesecake/pastry, and allow myself 1oz a day for tea. As it's that or gin.

Beauregard · 20/08/2009 21:50

Had a better day thankyou
Still cant shift the anxiety but still....

Pat-Great idea re the Target trousers.

Indeed Rawchocolate

Breakfast-2 slices of wholemeal toast with marmalade and small amount of butter(in mini pat).In my defence it was in cafe and there was no marg.

Lunch-Soya bites and sandwhich with wedsleydale cheese and lettuce.

Dinner-Ginormous bowl of quorn chilli with rice

Snacks-2 plums
Drinks -Tea x3 ,coffee x1 ,water.

Exercise-1 mile power walk
Pushed round lanes again all afternoon.

newspaperdelivery · 20/08/2009 21:57

Good day Pelvic!!

Hope tesion melts soon.

My whole wardrobe is a target I hold on to my skinny minny jeans, but I have to be realistic. Its unlikely. Mind you, they are from post dd1 days, so it is possible I suppose.....
