⭐️ OPEN TO ALL ⭐️

Following on from ⭐️LOSE IT! Revive & Thrive January 2025⭐️

WOW January passed in a heartbeat! Let’s keep the momentum going ladies!

To reach optimum health and vitality (as well as a slim bod) we need to focus not only on our food intake; but movement, our mental health and sleep quality too!

Who doesn’t want to feel good and energetic as well looking great!
Get on board to reset & refresh and become a healthier version of yourself.

These threads are for those who’d like to lose weight and those who wish to maintain whilst eating a healthy varied diet.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We generally have WOW (weigh on Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable).

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and eat twice a day. Im a long time healthy eater and overall I’ve lost over 3 stone. After having been on the wrong side of 12st Im now hovering around 9st 2lbs.

Are you in😊 What food plan will you be following? What do you want to change and why?

Good still dreadful because for some reason I'm just not very hungry and mainly eating biscuits and drinking water. I've only had one cup of tea today which is very unusual although I've got a strange week this week and haven't as much time.
Steps: 28,775 so far.
Miles: 12.55 so far

Jaderz · 04/02/2025 21:04

@iamyourequal maybe we need to frame things. I was just driving back from Pilates and I was like look how far I have come. I need to stop being so negative on myself.

problem is I have been trying to lose weight for nearly 2 years and it’s really hard I gave myself a break last year but this just set me back so I won’t be doing that again! I’ve not been able to get to goal quickly perhaps I should have done WLI but it’s too late now. Doesn’t help it’s winter and I am less motivated to move around.

I am stuck on a goal in my head which isn’t unrealistic in all honesty (10st) but to get there is hard work. I got down to 10st 4 but now back up to 10st 7/8

I’ve already lost 5st. I am fitter and healthier than I’ve been in years (recently had very good blood tests).

Todsy I ate good meals but then ‘rewarded’ myself with 5 biscuits!

OnaMatUpHere · 04/02/2025 21:08

Did my 10,000 steps today and half an hour of weights. Had 1300 calories. I am struggling with reducing the calories this time. I have found it much easier to do keto as I lose my appetite. I have been starving the last couple of days and already starting to obsess over food.
@TheRealHousewife thank you, it's true I am having to be very careful with extras and weighing things.

ts96 · 04/02/2025 22:51

I hope it's okay to join!

I'm almost the highest weight I have been and hating it- weight has crept up after a horrendous few years. I've recently settled into to a much less stressful job with better hours (no more shifts!). So this feels like the perfect time to start tackling things. I'll be following the fast 800, hopefully for the 12 weeks to really kickstart things and break the cycle I'm currently in with food. I definitely need some accountability.

iamyourequal · 04/02/2025 23:08

@Jaderz 5st is amazing! Congratulations on that - you definitely need to cut yourself some slack! By your stats you are 10/11ths of the way from your start to your goal! You are on the hone run.
I’ve been trying to lose 2 stone for about 4 years now! 10lb on, 10lb off repeat. Determined this time.

welcome @ts96 I’m new too this week. We can do this! You will certainly lose on the Fast800!

Goodafternoonmillie · 05/02/2025 07:01

WOW - 10 st 2.0 lbs, 31.7% body fat.

so 0.6 lbs lost since 1st Feb.
1.6 lbs and 1% body fat lost since last WOW.

very pleased with that 🥳
keep going everyone!!

@Jaderz 5st loss overall is fantastic!!!
overall I have lost 3 st and on the last st now. But last year I didnt make any progress at all!!

plan for today:
20 mins full body workout and 12 mins abs done ✅
B: Smoothie
L: Pea Soup & Sourdough
D: Chicken Wings & Salad

LemonDrizzle23 · 05/02/2025 07:26

After trending upwards for the last couple of weeks, I've got back on it and had a small loss of 0.2kg this week.

SW: 97.5kg
CW: 93.6kg
10%: 88kg

I've decided my two main goals for Feb are to continue to improve my cardio health, and to up my vegetable intake after listening to Tim Spectre talking about the gut microbiome.

Hope everyone has a good WOW!

Fellsbells · 05/02/2025 07:32

Well done wowers.

I’m back in the 9s. Plan is to actually stay in them now instead of bouncing up and down like a yo-yo.

TerroristToddler · 05/02/2025 08:00

WOW - lost another 0.5lb. It feels such small losses at the moment which is disheartening but all in the right direction and perhaps I'm gearing up for a bigger loss next week (often lose tiny anmounts for 2-3 weeks then get one week of 1.5-2lbs then back to 0.5lbs again!)

Anyway.. here it is:

SW - 140lbs
CW - 135 lbs
GW - 125 lbs

10lbs to go!
5lbs down in total Smile

Newname2308 · 05/02/2025 08:31

SW 66.1kg
WOW 65.3kg
TW 60kg

I'm being strict with what I eat at work - I do IF and have no difficulty not eating until 12:30/13:00. It suits my metabolism. I'm also vegan so tend not to be able to join in on biscuits etc at work, which is useful! I just need to regain my self control on snacking at home, and on closing the eating window at 8:30ish....

ForestDragon · 05/02/2025 08:52

WoW for me too:
SW: 94 kg
CW: 90.7 kg
GW: 70 kg

In the small loss club too this week, 0.2 kg down. But I've had various birthday related treats, and slacked a bit on running, so I think that I've got a fair result there for being careful but still having the food I wanted. So I think it's ok but has made me realise how important being consistently in calorie deficit most of the time is for me, as it does seem quite critical to actually losing rather than just staying more or less where I am.

Well done to everyone for keeping going!

IDareSay · 05/02/2025 09:20

SW: 72.5 kg beginning January (I was as high as 74.9kg last year!)
GW1: 70 kg end January (achieved and reset to 69kg)
CW: 68.3kg (4.2 kg lost) 5th Feb
GW2: 65 kg end March (in time for weekend away)
GW3: 60kg end June

A tiny loss of 0.2kg this week but I have been higher than last week's weight all week until today so I am relieved! Looking back I can see that I haven't been as consistent with my water intake and we have gone into town in the car rather than walking as we usually do due to horrible weather.
Time to get back on the treadmill on those days I think, but it looks decent outside today so a walk is on the cards.

under60kgbyJuly · 05/02/2025 09:22

WOW - same number as last week, but in fact I weigh daily and the rolling average is trending down nicely, so that's ok. It's still coming off faster than it went on. Patience...

SW: 63.4kg
CW: 62.4kg
GW: 60.0kg

socks1107 · 05/02/2025 09:36

But if an anomaly this week as I was away for four days last week so I went up on the scales by 2lb when I got home but today I'm over way to loosing that again

Sw 87kg
CW 84
Gw 70

Been easy to get back to eating well again and I'm feeling it in my clothes suddenly. My measurements have all trended down this week in all areas.
Have a great Wednesday everyone thanks for all the encouragement and support

NessaSmith · 05/02/2025 12:00

I have a goal!

To shrink my stomach and reduce my snacking before March, when I start my new job. Being so big (nearly 20 stone) means I'm pretty much always hungry but I need to learn to push through so I can have breakfast, lunch, mid afternoon snack, and dinner only. I don't want to be that fat girl always snacking at her desk.

So I'm going to focus on reducing snacks and learning to cope with that over the next few weeks.

Good Afternoon!

WOW - 9st 2lb - I’ve fluctuated up and down this week which is to be expected. Migraine meds wreck my ‘rhythm’ 😬

@Jaderz 5st loss! Awesome 🙌 Congratulations 🥳 That said, it could explain why your loss has slowed down. You’ll need less cals overall as you body weight has dropped significantly.

@NessaSmith Congratulations on your new job! Try to keep hydrated, have plenty of protein, fibre and healthy fats = You will stay fuller for longer and more able to avoid snacking 👍

@under60kgbyJuly It’s always better to look at the long trajectory like you have! Well done on achieving a downward trend 👏

@IDareSay @ForestDragon @TerroristToddler @Fellsbells @LemonDrizzle23 @Goodafternoonmillie Well done on your losses! 👏👏 Don’t diss the small losses, they soon accumulate over the weeks/months 👍

Welcome to the thread @ts96 We have all been where you are and be assured that you can definitely turn things around. Week by week you’ll get nearer to your goal 👍

Happy Wednesday! I was trying to post a giphy … it’s failed 😅

OP posts:
StealthyBMI · 05/02/2025 13:40

Happy Wednesday all.. Sorry I use the awful android app so it's hard to tag and reply to individual posts. Well done everyone on their losses this week. I am feeling a bit better today but was pretty wiped out for a few days. WOW is 1.2KG down from last Wed but has actually jumped up from the last few days with a bit of snacking and less walking. Back on track today with my morning walk, finished my soup for lunch and hoping to see the weight continuing to drop this week. Weighing daily really makes me see how much your weight wobbles up and down in a downward trend rather than a straight line. The other day I tried on a few dresses I've had hanging in my wardrobe unworn for the last couple of years as I was too fat - and they all fit again! Plus I had a targeted ad for a beautiful dress from Whistles (thanks S&B thread) which I could not justify at £125, but found it on Vinted at £20! And actually it might even be a bit too big, but it shows off my toned legs so I'm keeping it!

jane46b · 05/02/2025 13:48

Hi all,

So....I joined the January post, however, I was not very good at sticking to plan so here I am recording the same weight as this time last month!
However, this month with a new focus - I'm doing a run 100k in February for dementia challenge, it's only day 5, but the fact that I'm exercising is motivating me to make better choices with my food.
Frustratingly though, I've ran 22.82 km in 5 days and not lost a single lb.
I plan to do IF from tomorrow too and I've literally just poured a bottle of wine down the sink as even one glass results in 3 bags of crisps lol.

CW: 12st 4.2lbs
First GW: 11st 6 lbs

I think I work better with smaller goals, so will see how I get on.

Good luck everyone Smile

Jaderz · 05/02/2025 14:37

I’m still here and will try to complain less 😂

Back down to 67kg

I really want to lose the last bit of my lower belly weight as it looks a bit out of proportion on me and I think it will go if I keep going a little more. It’s my last chunky zone

My goal was 63.5kg by mid April. So I now have 10 weeks to lose 7lbs which sounds easy but it bloody well isn’t 😂

Haven’t bought a bikini yet - am holding out until I have made a bit of progress in 2025

Tracking today ✅

will try fit in a weights work out later on

TheRealHousewife · 05/02/2025 14:48

Hi @jane46b Well done on getting the running in. With all that running your muscles will be repairing and replenishing their glycogen stores so any fat loss will be masked at the moment. Give it time and Keep going 👍

@StealthyBMI Well done on your loss 👍

@Jaderz Youll get there soon enough 👌 I’ve recently bought a tankini … it’s great! I’m better with separate top and bottom as I’m top heavy 👙

PS I HATE NOT BEING ABLE TO POST PHOTOS BUT I UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED.

@TheRealHousewife last year I ended up with bikinis I did not try on and the pants part was tiny and my belly hung over the top and i had 2 ledges of hip fat as well so it wasn’t flattering. This year I need better pants. Top half I have small boobs and arms so it’s fine in a triangle top
