Here we go! This is our third 2 stones off thread.

I did really well in 2 stones off for Xmas, less good in the Easter thread.

I found having an end date in sight meant I could focus on the date rather than than the monumental amount of weight I needed to lose

End date for this thread is 15th July which will roughly tie in with school holidays. 15 weeks from today.

Welcome to anyone new who wants to join and to anyone who has been involved in either of the two previous threads.
Im not starting until tomorrow

I'd also like to ask that everyone adds one element of self care that they don't usually have time for. I'm going to start using a specific cream for my eyes. Maybe by summer that will also show a difference?

I did weigh myself after my holiday and was horrified - the scales gave me 14 6 last week. But I suspect that wasn't all real weight as I was just off a plane and a crap food fest to get me through the flight 😂😂

Although it's a gain still relative to where I started I'm glad I've got back on it this week and not used it as an excuse just to give up. I'm not going to make the target by mid July but still hoping for a decent loss between now and then.

Loss= 0 this week.
I've only been to the gym twice though, haven't felt v well.

SW 2/1/24-16 stones

CW 23/5/24=14 stones 13

GW=13 stone 4 pounds (am 6 foot tall) will take BMI to 25 so at least in the 'healthy' range.

This week stayed the same, must try harder next week 💪

I’ve gained 2lb this week but there were lots of reasons. We still have 6 weeks of the challenge to go so hopefully I will lose my remaining 8lb.

Me too! It feels so good. For the first time my husband said tonight how much weight I'd lost! I was so thrilled I fist pumped the air Smile (he's great btw but it's suddenly noticeable in the last few weeks)

So catching up on all the posts since I was here in April. Definitely have undone the good work I started to do so need to start again. It is my birthday tomorrow so know I won’t be able to eat well - cake etc but hopefully will rediscover my motivation on Tuesday. Also need to get moving again as I’ve been a bit of a sloth the last few weeks, who knows why?? Well done to all of you who have kept going over the past few weeks, you are my inspiration!

I have finally dropped below 77kg, it’s taken me all month! I think it’s been so slow as I’ve had a lot of social stuff and events lately where I’ve been more lenient. I guess the important thing is that I’ve not gained??

I also wore a dress the other day which I recalled being tight and not very flattering, but it fitted nicely and looked cute!

2lb loss this week. I was weighing less on thurs/fri but not a good weekend 🙄 Really struggling with the eating now. Still enjoying the walks.

So back from an amazing family holiday and weighed myself today and I'm 0.8kg lighter than my last official weigh in on 20/05.

I did put weight on when I was on holiday, as I weighed myself when I came back (I was only away 4 days and according to the scales I put on 2.1 kg. However I started back on track the day after coming home and getting back into my good habits has meant that the weight quickly came off again.

Current Loss - 0.8kg
Total loss - 5.2kg
Target loss - 13kg

I'm not going to weigh myself this eeek. We had my daughters 18th, I got Covid and now my appetite is back I'm eating everything!

I've been losing and gaining the same 2lb for the past 3-4 weeks which is really annoying but I'm staying on plan for a month without deviating now so hopefully will get a good few lbs off

I've stayed the same for 2 months so I'm trying a reset. I'm fasting on a 16:8 basis and really restricting calories to 1200. I want to see if this actually kick starts things. My weightloss is insanely slow when I'm on 1500 calories.

So I got my first gain since I started in February. I have somehow hurt my leg and continuing to walk on it it was getting worse. So I decided to rest it for a couple of days. Instead of being more careful about what I ate to compensate, I ate non stop. Crisps, chocolate, ice cream, pizza. By Saturday I was weighing 4lb on!! So I took some painkillers and started again. Thankfully by this morning I was only up just over 1lb. I’m cross at myself but hopefully it will motivate me to be better this week x

I'm at the end of week 8 today. I started on 16th April, and I've been very focussed - no alcohol etc. I'm almost at 2st, 1.4lbs to go!
