Here we go! This is our third 2 stones off thread.

I did really well in 2 stones off for Xmas, less good in the Easter thread.

I found having an end date in sight meant I could focus on the date rather than than the monumental amount of weight I needed to lose

End date for this thread is 15th July which will roughly tie in with school holidays. 15 weeks from today.

Welcome to anyone new who wants to join and to anyone who has been involved in either of the two previous threads.
Im not starting until tomorrow

I'd also like to ask that everyone adds one element of self care that they don't usually have time for. I'm going to start using a specific cream for my eyes. Maybe by summer that will also show a difference?

So I was worried that this week would be bad as my OH has been away and historically that has been when I’ve eaten and drunk a lot. I’ve also had a nasty chest infection which has limited the exercise I can do. However I managed to keep it reigned in. Having to log
Everything on my NutraCheck app really makes me think about if it’s worth it!

A quarter of the way to my goal!

SW - 1st Jan - 225 lb (16 st 1 lb - BMI 34.2)
Loss this week - 1 lb
CW - 6th May - 193 lb (13 st 11 lb - BMI 29.3)

Total Loss - 32 lb (14% bodyweight)

Another 3lb off this week. 2st all together. Into the next stone, and nearly half way on the challenge. Had a bad weekend though so hoping it doesn’t catch up with me! Feeling the motivation waver.

hi friends- it’s been a while - i fell off the wagon- now back on so thought i’d update

SW: 105 or there abouts in Jan
CW:94 ( lost 3 kg this week )
goal 1 - 90
goal 2 - 85
final goal 70-75kg apparently it should be 60-65 but i don’t think that’s possible for me

you are having great success - what are you doing , what’s worked for you mostly ?

Calorie counting with my fitness pal and walking. I was very sedentary when I started and I’m severe asthmatic. My asthma has been as controlled as it gets lately so I have built up my walking. At the start I couldn’t walk far but now I aim for 15,000 steps and at least over 10,000. I walk in the morning and again at night (mostly) and have actually been enjoying it.

It's my three week weigh in today, another 2lbs off, which means 13.4lbs in total. I'm very happy with that, I can feel it already, but I do have a lot to lose!

Todays weigh in and another loss of approximately a 1lb

CW 76.7
GW 75

So I am very close to my goal weight for my holiday in 5 weeks, I'll get to goal and set a small new goal. Gives me a little buffer for holiday Grin

Weighed again today and officially 30lbs off now! 5lb more to 'healthy' BMI and 19lb to goal weight 🥳

A teeny tiny 0.2 kg loss for me today, however that 0.2kg now means that I now see the next stone down when I weigh myself, which is a great number to see. I'm going to take that as a win!

Weight is coming off slower now, as I've lost nearly 6 stone since August last year, but at least the trend is still downward.

Current Loss - 0.2kg
Total loss - 2.9kg
Target loss - 13kg

Thanks! Yes, started to think about maintenance a little. Determined to keep it off when I get there! Currently very low carb and significant calorie deficit. Possibly need to actually up my calories a bit considering the amount of activity I am doing. Once I hit goal weight I am going to play around with introducing more carbs which should be OK if I am keeping this activity level. Will still focus on hitting my protein goals. And definitely won't be going back to drinking alcohol several times a week. Couple times a month will be ok tho

I'm completely off the rails. There is some family stuff going on and I am just eating everything and not tracking, but I don't want to live like this. I don't want to lose my progress.

Don't panic, we all go through stages where we fall off the food wagon. Don't weigh this week, just get back on it for a week and weigh then. Go easy on yourself, this is a marathon not a sprint - a few days or even weeks off won't make a difference in the long run

I’ve maintained this week, not unexpected as I did indulge a lot over the weekend. I’m hoping that I’ve had a loss which is just masked by water weight. As I also did so much exercise over the weekend! Just yesterday alone I did 150mins total exercise!

So it’s nice that I’m clearly getting fitter (that much exercise would have been unheard of for me at the beginning of Jan). But I’d really like some flab to shift too!

2lb off this week. Was good with my walking hitting at least 15,000 every day this week, but my eating is getting worse. Ice creams and takeaways/eating out 🤦‍♀️ Bad habits slowly creeping back in. My calorie allowance is supposed to be 1200 which does not allow much wiggle room. Determined to eat better this week!
