If you have a bit more to lose and will be doing this for a while and want a nice supportive crowd to hang out with while you're at it this might be the thread for you.

"I normally "feel it" and nothing haha" - lol highly relatable @TesticularHeft as is this; "I'm ecstatic but also still sad. I never thought I would weigh this much." I've definately been there but I think the danger with attaching any kind of virtue / guilt to what you weigh is that it can lead to a negative spiral. I'm not a good person as I didn't look after myself better, as I'm not a good person I don't deserve to be looked after. Better to see it as carrying around multiple stone of excess fat is a burden it's ok to put down. Taking the best care of yourself you can manage right now is a good thing even if if the past the best you could manage wasn't neceassarily so great.

fingers crossed @FlabMonsterIsDietingAgain just keep eating right and the scales will (eventually) show it.

Just realised period is due next week and I always have a week of slow/no loss before that then a sudden drop. Fingers crossed the pattern remains true.

I haven’t updated my status here for a while and didn’t diet strongly. Nevertheless , I weighted myself today morning and it’s 83kg, making me officially overweight , instead of obese 😄 I’m very happy!

I missed this one @turefu but that's such a massive thing. Well done.

Happy Monday

SW (3/7/23) 150 kg / (1/1/24) 124.0 kg
CW (end of week 11) 112.6 kg (loss 2.7kg)
Total loss so far this year 11.4 kg (25lbs) in 11 weeks

✅114.4kg is under 18 stone
✅130kg individual weight limit for the twister water slide at centre parcs
✅115kg for the Typhoon
✅112.8kg is 6 stone lost in total
🎯112.5kg 25% bw lost and my next tracker entry!
🎯112kg for the Tropical cyclone individual rider at centre parcs
🎯111.3kg is 2 stone lost this year
🎯110kg 40 kg lost
🎯109kg 50% of excess weight lost (150-68/2)
🎯108.8kg BMI<40
🎯108kg under 17 stone
🎯105kg 7 stone lost in total & 30% bw lost (45kg lost 45kg to go)

I'm happy with my new low but expect a maintain or small bounce back on the scales next week as the long term trend remains about a kilo a week and I've lost 37 kg in 37 weeks now. I've shared some centre parcs based mini goals as we're going in a few weeks.

And there was me on the 15th giving myself a pat on the back with an expected big loss ! I was sure a 3 or 4lb , it was 2lb so at least a loss.

SW 16. 1.5
CW 14 .13
TW 9. 0

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 18/03/2024 09:22

2lb is great @Adooree and feeling lighter is great too even if the feeling lead you to expect even more impact on the numbers.

Well done on your losses everyone! I only lost 500g this week, but I’ve had the cough of death (it’s not even gone yet) so I was expecting a gain. Hopefully I can get into the 87kgs range by next weigh in.

I’ve also gone down a size in jeans and can nearly get into a pair of more formal
trousers that haven’t fitted for nearly a year. And if I step on the scales in the evening wearing clothes I’m still always under 90kg now (I usually weigh first thing in the morning with nothing on as that’s when I’m at my lightest 😂). Chalking up some victories!

BusinessSecretsOfThePharaoh · 22/03/2024 17:30

Hi all. I’ve been AWOL from this thread for a while thanks to work and traveling with work, but just wanted to stick my head around the virtual door and see how everyone is doing. Delighted to see so many great losses.

I’ll weigh myself on Monday and report back. Scales has slowed a but lately but I’m continuing to feel a difference in my clothes so I think I’m maybe losing fat but gaining some muscle in some areas thanks to exercise so I’m still happy.

stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk · 23/03/2024 00:47

hey there @BusinessSecretsOfThePharaoh thanks for saying hi

Achieved my mini goal of losing 2st. Next mini goal is to get into the 15s.

FlabMonsterIsDietingAgain · 25/03/2024 06:41

@Chouxpastryishard calorie counting, nothing fancy just putting everything I eat and drink into MyFitnessPal

I'm 5ft 8 and 40yrs old so it calculates I'm allowed 1670 calories a day which is what I stick to. Sometimes a bit below, sometimes a bit over but it averages out over the week.

I also do a couple of 30 min exercise sessions a week, currently enjoying Aqua aerobics but the local swimming pool should be reopening after big repairs soon so will be doing some swimming too when it does.

And about 2lts water a day (when I remember).

Bumblebeebum23 · 25/03/2024 07:44

Well done, everyone 👏 Another (nearly) 2lbs off this week for me 😊 12st 5lbs and 1/4 this morning. Next mini goal is 12st 2lbs for my 3.5 stone loss. The question is, can I survive the Easter holidays?!!! 🐣🍫🍫
