So … anyone want to join me?

1lb a week. So no pressure. There may be some weeks we don’t lose but then we may lose 2 the next week. Achievable.

I’ve just gone through my phone and if I lose 1lb a week, every week … I’ll be 9 stone by 24 October!

I’ve failed in the past because I have been too rigid and then broken it. So this time I’m deliberately going for slow.

Start weight - 12 stone.

Thank you! I definitely agree! The frame of mine matters. We've had a couple of weeks of dd being ill so have spent a lot of time inside and I think that's just made it harder to be motivated as I've not been active and find when I'm at home I just want to snack!
I've got just under 2 stone to go, maybe a little more but will see how I feel when I get there. Ideally I'd like to lose it by summer time, but not putting any pressure on myself to get it off quickly!

@peboh, awh no wonder you've not been on it if you've had your dd to look after.
That's good you're not putting pressure on yourself. I think a pound a week is a great target.

@Lemonweightloss sorry for the late reply. I would normally have my tea about an hour or so after I get in from work,sometimes i'm home by 5 other days i'm not home till after 6. I usually have a coffee when I get home but i've got in the habit of snacking with it,then later on I have a cup of tea with more snacks.
Weigh in day tomorrow, I have managed to cut down on my snacking, I haven't stopped completely as the cravings get really bad then I loose all control. I've cut out sugar in my coffee and i'm drinking water at meals.

2lb down this morning, now 12st 8lbs. Since i've started my bmi had dropped from 31.7 to 31.2 which is good to see.
Need to start doing some exercise, i'm hoping with the evenings getting lighter (i'm in the uk) i'll be able to get out walking.

Yeah the weather is pretty awful isn't it. I stayed in all day yesterday so was desperate to go out this morning. I walked to zumba and walked home so all good, but yes, it was grim !
I've just had a nice bath and am sat in bed all warm n cosy Smile.

No weight loss for me this week. 😢 However I had to do a 3 hour each way drive (plus overnight stay) to visit mum and may have binged on chocolate while driving. Hope for better things in the coming week!

It's happened again 🤦‍♀️ 2lb gain this weekend. Now 11.3. Ahh so frustrated with myself!
The weather was awful where I am this weekend, but I know deep down that is no excuse! I have got myself a three month membership to a home workout app, so I'm going to push my self to do at least one of their 10minute workouts everyday. Hopefully that will get me more motivated. 🤞

@Ifihadapoundd, at least you've got a plan to stay on it. 2lb isn't a massive amount but I do understand the frustration.

How I got through the ( oh so boring) weekend without nosediving into rubbish and reuniting with my pal Mr Pinot, I do not know.
You'll get there if you keep trying.

Weigh in, I've lost 3lb this week as 13stone 2lb today (was 13.5 last week). To be honest I've eaten quite a few roasts/Chinese/ a few chocolate things, but again it shows how much junk food I was eating as it coming off fairly consistently. Have a feeling it will just stop soon though.
At my fittest I was 10. 5 stone so want to be 11.5 stone ideally so still a fair way to go. I'm lighter now than after my first child so feel happy with this.
Clothes feel better and down two notches on the belt!

I’ve lost 2.3lbs this week, which I am pleased with - it makes up for the just over half a pound a gained last week! Well done to everyone for keeping going

After 7 days of calorie counting, no wine, no rubbish ( had fish n chips last night and chocolate cos I was feeling fluey), I have lost.....6lb !!
Obviously I'm only aiming for a pound a week but I just wanted a kick-start. Mainly to show myself I could do it !
Im 12st 12. Target is 12st 5. That's where I feel comfortable.

Well done to everyone that lost.
1lb on this week,im now 12st 9lb. Actually abit gutted as ive literally had no snacks at all,only had 1 chocolate sweet&a breadstick due to getting a tooth out and having a sore mouth,although I did have a chinese last night.
Maybe my rubbish week a few weeks ago has caught up with me. Ive been feeling crampy all day so think af might make an appearance. Ive been rinsing my mouth with salt water for the last 5 days so maybe water retention (wishful thinking Grin )

Ahh well onto a new week.

@Minnie123456, never mind. It's only a pound - you can get it off for next week. I think your Chinese may be the culprit - lots of salt in that baby 🤣
I thought I was having a terrible week but looking at my food diary, I've kept to under 1500cals all week. I missed 2 gym classes though because I've been ill 🤒 ( was certain I had covid but negative). Yesterday I was off plan and today I am so I'll be scared to weigh self Tuesday!! But I'm going to because I have to face the music 🥴

Well done to those who have lost…I’ve joined the gain group this week as I’ve gained +1.3lbs. I know I have been off plan this week, could blame the increase in my nerve pain meds as they make you hungry and I’ve certainly moved less due to the pain flare, however this will be the case for prob a while now. Just need to snack on fruit/veg sticks instead.

Can I join ? I too lost weight after baby number 2 in time for a big birthday but piled it straight back on plus an extra half a stone with tiredness eating.

So I'll admit to being 11 stone 8 ( I really can't believe this Sad)
Target is 10 back to stone, seems so much to loose

And I've already been dieting for the last 4 weeks, so have lost a little already, so I was more. But had the lurgy constantly so not getting out as much for walks as had big kid off school and constantly waking toddler.

I didn't weigh self this morning. Was too scared after my weekend of over indulgence! Still I've been up, walked an hour and did 45 mins dance class so I'm on it !
I felt great when I was behaving 😇

2lb off this week, i've lost 4lbs in 4 weeks so i'm on the right track. I'm expecting to gain next week as i've had a rubbish week regarding food.
