Thought I would start the new thread a day early, cannot believe this thread has been going for two years. I joined on 2nd Jan 2020. I'm going to put today's weight in 9st1.25, so a gain of three pounds in December. Aiming to get back to where I was by the end of January and in the longer term a few more pounds.

Just wanted to say my meal out was gross and such a waste of cals 😤 ordered a spicy chicken pasta dish and it was so thick with cream and greasy where the oil had separated. Feel queasy thinking about it (although that might be the affects of the wine!)

Annoyed to have eaten something so high cal when it wasn't enjoyable.

Ah well, I need to chuck it in the fuck it bucket and move on!

Oh no how gutting! My meal out was lovely but I wish I didn't then have a fuck it attitude the rest of the day. I've probably wiped out the calorie deficit over the whole of last week Sad. Anyway, today's a new day. It shouldn't rain so i'll try to get plenty of steps in. Have a good one.

Happy Monday everyone. I didn't weigh in today, was a pound down yesterday on the day before but we went to the Toby last night for a meal. Cannot believe we are over halfway through January.

No weigh ins today or yesterday as I had chinese on Saturday night and then some leftovers yesterday and no point upsetting myself with water retention weight from all the salt.

Work and keeping moving today and not eating till evening. Will brave scales tomorrow probably.

Yep, January is flying Octopus.

Happy Monday, everyone! Still hanging in at 10/7 here, and my steps last week were just under 70,000 for the week which is annoying - usually I average out. Before Christmas I was going in to work two days a week which made a big difference but we're WFH full time until February at least.

Derailed by a doughnut today 🍩 Someone brought Krispy Kremes into the office.

B coffee, doughnut 350
L overnight oats made with yogurt and protein powder, apple and banana 450
D Gusto Joe Wicks sweet pot and black bean stew, small portion brown rice, small yogurt 460

With tea & coffee I'm at about 1400. Will try to do 1200-1400 each day this week, but out Saturday for food and drinks.

Slightly better with steps and food yesterday, 9st1 this morning. Not expecting miracles at the moment. You doughnut sounds yum @Hangoverstruggles. I would't worry about if its breakfast.

Lame as it sounds my water is as low as it could be as I have a proper medical mask on all day as ds had a positive antigen.. So also I'm stuck home, so no steps... Meals good but also imbibing chocolate for comfort. Oh well. Will weigh tomorrow, think that's the week.

Ended up on a bit of a binge yesterday evening - I was ravenous. Avoiding scales and must.do.better today. The cold isn't helping. Off to give blood today.

Thanks everyone, you're very good and Judy you look great. I'm intrigued by your IG! Negative again for me so I'd rather avoid really. Mask all day etcz definitely feeling dehydrated. Have had a great breakfast there now, fruit and yoghurt, a coffee and 2 large glasses. I am declaring the kitchen covid free so the 2 dc have 4 rooms and I can be mask free in the kitchen and my own room. I decided not to weigh but had a lovely (!) cold shower at end of shower today, followed by body moisturiser and my softest clothes, body needs some love right now!! Drink up all!

I did weigh this morning in the end just to avoid ignorance is bliss mode! Happy surprise was 10st9.5lbs. Must drink more water today, I’ve been bad at it all week

I'm very late to this party, but I've decided to revamp my diet now rather than waiting until February. I've gained steadily over the past year, to the point where my favourite jeans barely do up and I struggle with moves on aerial hoop that I used to do easily. I want to lose half a stone.

I've identified my snacking habits as the culprit. Three solid meals a day from now on, and no grazing. There's one package of Maryland cookies left in the house, and once they're gone I'll scrimp together all the willpower I have and focus on cooking healthy filling meals. Doesn't help that I have such a massive sweet tooth. Biscuit

Hi all, on 08/01 I weighed in at 131lbs/59.4kg. Weighed in again on Saturday 15th at 129.2lbs/58.6kg so firly happy with that

Was fairly good all week last week, yoga every morning, at least 2 litres of water and 20,000 steps each day. Apart from Sunday where I slept in until midday. The new weekly routine must've been a shock to the system!

Everyone is doing really well, and off days are to be expected. It is definitely keeping me motivated

Busy day, lots of stairs and fasted till just now when I ate a delicious big bowl of prawns and having a gin and tonic. Work is manic but under control.

There's steak in the fridge that needs using but that would require standing up again which isn't appealing currently. If I get the energy together later I'll have pepper steak and a big portion of salad and call it a low carb day.

I should burn close to 1900 calories today which is good for me now - that used to be a really low burn day a couple of stone ago. Must try and remember to get on the scales and face them in the morning.
