Here is the new thread. Thanks for the title @theHoneyBadger.

Weighed in at 8st12.5 this morning, 0.25 down from the beginning of August. No specific aim for me other than to eat a bit more healthily cause I've had a wierd lurgy the last few days, not covid have tested several times. Love September cause it always feels like a new beginning.

12:13.6. Up from my lowest but just under 13 thankfully. Hopefully period will see me start losing again.

Octopus37 · 16/09/2021 06:45

8st12.5 last night cause I ate chips and Jalapeno poppers. Did over 20,000 steps though yesterday, so hoping that with lots of water it will balance out.

Well done on braving the scales @TheHoneyBadger. I have had no movement for several days now. Still sitting at 12st 0.5. Really hoping it will suddenly drop one morning. I am being good with food and getting out and exercising. 4 mile walk with a friend last night.

Gizzy93 · 16/09/2021 09:36

I did night shift last night, so worked 8pm-6am. I usually binge like heck on night shifts and the day after.
But all I ate during the night was some celery and oats at about 2am. Didn't have any sugary drinks either.

Today, I did eat a bit more than I normally would, BUT I hopped on the bike for 70 minutes! I'm just really proud of myself haha.

Another night shift tonight. Hoping for another strong night and day tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a good day

TheHoneyBadger · 16/09/2021 09:37

Well done Gizzy Smile

I'm sure it will drop soon LadyD - sometimes get a whoosh after a long stall.

NutellaEllaElla · 16/09/2021 19:59

Mmm Morrisons own low cal ice cream is helping me out big time this evening. I hope that Tesco will have the brownie Halo Top next time I go though.

Almost Friday, almost the weekend. Feels like a long week.

Octopus37 · 17/09/2021 07:12

Well done Gizzy and HoneyBadger. 8s11.75 this morning TBH got some work stress which isn't much fun. Hoping that things will get easier one of these days. Glad its Friday anyway

sparklyglitterball · 17/09/2021 07:25

Yay! So happy, I've lost 3lb. It's a big deal for me as I'm usually a slow loser. @Octopus37 hope the work stress settles soon. Are you able to switch off a bit over the weekend and relax?

LBB2020 · 17/09/2021 08:32

Well done everyone!
Hope the work stress settles down soon for you @Octopus37
That ice cream sounds good @NutellaEllaElla
I’ve completely fallen off the wagon this week Blush so annoyed with myself as me and DH were really in the zone before we caught Covid! Trying to get back in the right head space over the weekend. I have just over a month until I return to work and really want to shift a few lbs before then!

LadyDanburysHat · 17/09/2021 08:33

Well done @Gizzy93 my DH used to work night shift and I know it really messes with your eating. And @sparklyglitterball that's a great loss.

I have finally seen a loss this week, back to my lowest of 11st 12.7. Feeling happy with that.

LBB2020 · 17/09/2021 08:54

Well done @LadyDanburysHat Smile

NutellaEllaElla · 17/09/2021 12:23

Yay for the successes!
@LBB2020 welcome back on the wagon. Short memory, you're here now!

I dropped another lb this morning. But the chippy is open again Grin I'm gonna fit it in to my day. You gotta have these things sometimes.

Gizzy93 · 17/09/2021 14:10

Ugh. I think I have plantar fasciitis. Have been in lots of pain the last 24 hours 😪

NutellaEllaElla · 17/09/2021 20:49

Oh no that is rubbish, have you had it before? I've heard Cryo therapy or something is good for that.

I'm feeling good. I managed to have fish and chips plus halo top brownie ice cream and didn't blow the bank but feel like I have had a hell of a treat! Happy days.

Octopus37 · 18/09/2021 08:42

@Gizzy93 you poor thing, hope you feel better soon. @sparklyglitterball
three pounds is fantastic, well done. @LBB2020 hope you are feeling better after covid, go easy on yourself. Had a chippy tea last night so 8st12.5 this morning. I'm just focusing on maintenance at the moment.

FlatteredFool · 18/09/2021 10:17

Morning all. I've spent the week full of a virus and still feel rubbish. There's been no school run so the scales are static snd have been mainly avoided. AF due. Well, maybe, I never know these days! I'm hoping next week will be normal.

LBB2020 · 18/09/2021 14:47

Feeling much better now thank you, just tired constantly. The past few days have been ok weather so I’ve made sure to get out for a walk with the children. I just am craving all the wrong foods Blush
Hope you’re feeling better soon @FlatteredFool

NutellaEllaElla · 18/09/2021 20:03

Hey hey, hope your weekends are going ok. I've eaten 1800 calories today but i've walked about 16 miles so that feels appropriate to me.

Octopus37 · 19/09/2021 08:19

Hope you feel better soon @FlatteredFool. @NutellaEllaElla 16 miles is ages, so impressed. Not enough steps for me yesterday, 8st12.5. Think my period is due as well.

OP posts:
TheHoneyBadger · 19/09/2021 12:30

Well my period arrived yesterday so I will get on the scales tomorrow. Had chinese takeaway on Friday night which always gives me fluid retention so am ignoring scales till tomorrow.

Well done for all the losses. I had a better calorie burn week and didn't do badly on food but not really been making much of an effort. Might need to up my game if I want to lose in September.

Gizzy93 · 20/09/2021 03:10

Afternoon, everyone.

I've never had plantar fasciitis before, but its so weird. I did a warm salt water soak, to see if there was anything I'd stepped on and help draw it out, nothing came out. But the next morning, it was fine. I havent had any more pain.
I havent had my work boots on since then though and have another night shift tonight so will see if it's something in my work boots causing it. If so, I'll have to get another pair.

Had a bit of a blow out weekend. But still exercised yesterday as my foot wasn't sore.

I've done myself up a meal plan for the week, which I plan on sticking to!

I hope you're feeling better, flatteredfool!

Hope AF doesn't move the scales too much for everyone!

TheHoneyBadger · 20/09/2021 05:24

Ouch gizzy.

12:13.8 here. Not making much progress.

Octopus37 · 20/09/2021 07:20

Slowly but surely wins the race @TheHoneyBadger. 8st12 here today. Hope its a good week for everyone.

OP posts:
NutellaEllaElla · 20/09/2021 07:44

Morning, not a brilliant weekend calories wise but plenty of exercise so should be ok. Have a good week.

LadyDanburysHat · 20/09/2021 08:52

@FlatteredFool I can totally understand craving the wrong things. I am now full of cold and have just wanted to eat all day long, and not nice healthy fruit and veg.

After saying I had no more nights out we ended up in Wetherspoons Friday night and I had pizza. I have managed not to gain over the weekend at all though, so that is good. Still 11st 12.5.

However, I now have a DC with Covid, after we have avoided it for 18 months. I have received a negative result this morning, and hope it stays that way.
