Here is the new thread. Thanks for the title @theHoneyBadger.

Weighed in at 8st12.5 this morning, 0.25 down from the beginning of August. No specific aim for me other than to eat a bit more healthily cause I've had a wierd lurgy the last few days, not covid have tested several times. Love September cause it always feels like a new beginning.

I'm really struggling to get motivated. I just want to sit, do nothing, and eat crap. I'm sitting here WFH in joggers feeling fat and disgusting. I didn't sleep well last night (too hot) so using tiredness as an excuse. I can't even be bothered to do any housework in between work. urrrgh.

LBB2020 · 09/09/2021 09:38

Happy anniversary for yesterday @Octopus37!
We’re still in isolation and starting to go a little crazy with cabin fever!
I had thought I’d get lots done around the house this week while DH is home to watch the children but I’m getting tired so quickly! I cleared out the “cupboard of doom” under the stairs yesterday and then fell asleep on the sofa whilst the boys were having their naps! Food hasn’t been too bad but not moving much as stuck in the house!

LadyDanburysHat · 09/09/2021 10:52

Well done @TheHoneyBadger, that must feel great.

I am 11st 13.2 today, and will be out tonight drinking cocktails and eating, but will get straight back to it over the weekend. And back in the gym too.

LBB2020 · 09/09/2021 11:35

Have a great night out @LadyDanburysHat!
I just randomly tried on my pre pregnancy jeans and to my surprise they actually comfortably fit! I’m so happy Smile (DS2 is almost a year old so it’s taken a while!)

LadyDanburysHat · 09/09/2021 11:46

@LBB2020 thank you. And great news on the jeans. It's funny how sometimes you don't realise what size you actually are, maybe because your shape has changed.

LBB2020 · 09/09/2021 13:47

Thank you @LadyDanburysHat Smile
I actually still have no idea what I weigh but I had tried on my jeans a month or so ago and could not zip and button them up so I’m really pleased I can now!

Amazonmulu · 09/09/2021 15:52

Can I join too?

I've got 16lb to lose and really want to try lose it in 5w (or as much as possible being realistic!!) as I've got a work thing and a school reunion.

I've done pretty much every type of diet and health plan. Lost 2st on keto light last year but lockdown 3 nearly killed me and I ate my way through my problems.

Wondering if I can try meal replacement shakes to kick start the weight loss 🤷🏻‍♀️

NutellaEllaElla · 09/09/2021 21:20

Welcome @Amazonmulu, meal replacement shakes sounds hardcore. Good luck.

Checking in for today. Hit my water target, resentfully met my calorie goal. Feeling a bit less enthusiastic but I'm still here.

sparklyglitterball · 09/09/2021 22:18

Checking in here too. Had a decent day diet wise and got out for a run. My step count is 20k, as I've been on the go a lot......it tends to be a lot lower on my work days as I'm rubbish at getting out to run in the evenings. Happy anniversary @Octopus37 Smile and very well done honey and Lady.

Gizzy93 · 10/09/2021 03:27

Good work everyone!

I think its okay to bad a blah day every now and then.
Yesterday I was going alright until I forgot to take my dinner to work. I only went 100cal over though.
Today is another story. Idk what it is, but I'm so damn hungry today!
Going to do some sewing to keep my mind off it.
My naughty Christmas fabric came so I want to lose a few kg before November when I make our shirts (and hopefully have enough for undies lmao).

Forgot to weigh myself yesterday and today. I'll have to try and remember tomorrow!

NutellaEllaElla · 10/09/2021 07:16

Ooh @Gizzy93 what are you making?

Octopus37 · 10/09/2021 07:21

@TheHoneyBadger that's fantastic, missed that yesterday and to you @LadyDanburysHat.

Know what you mean about motivation @listentomydeclaration, feeling a bit like that at the moment, I'm normally really new startish in September but not really this year.

@LBB2020 how much longer have you got to isolate for. Really feel for you with little ones. Take it easy.

8st12.75 this morning, so a bit of an improvement, did quite well with water yesterday. I've finished my copywriting course now which I'm pleased about. Need to start finding some work now.

@NutellaEllaElla I made DP a t-shirt and myself a summer dress. I also finished off a wallet. Busy day in my sewing room 😅

NutellaEllaElla · 10/09/2021 07:54

@Gizzy93 ooh you sound fast, it takes me weeks to make anything. If you fancy showing it off I'd love to see, I have a sewing thread

Gizzy93 · 10/09/2021 08:11

@NutellaEllaElla I love showing off my sewing haha.
The shirt and dress were both very simple, so didn't take much time at all. The wallet was already done, just needed to add rivets. I'm off to join the sewing thread now!

To keep it on-topic: I haven't exercised today. I planned on it, but now I'm too tired. Also still in a very snacky mood

TheHoneyBadger · 10/09/2021 09:17

Pizza last night after a very sedentary day at home and bounced right back up to 13. Pretty much expected. Busier day today with work and will make better food choices and try to keep moving at the weekend.

Going to swim in the lake of a stately home on Sunday. Already shivering at the thought but it will do me good.

TheHoneyBadger · 10/09/2021 09:19

Sorry welcome to newbies and people I haven’t spoken with. I’m in back to school mode for myself and ds and am a bit frazzled and just tend to post my stuff and run at the minute.

I’m not always so self absorbed 🙈

Gizzy93 · 10/09/2021 09:36

@TheHoneyBadger a swim sounds so good! It's warming up here in Aus, so swimming season is almost here.

We decided on Mexican tonight. I actually feel a bit ill, I think from my jab today. I'm working all weekend so I won't have much time to mindlessly eat lol

golddustwomen · 10/09/2021 11:30

Hi all, please can I join Grin

I was doing well on the lose 7lbs in March thread but due to both kids birthdays then some sad family things I completely went off the weight loss wagon.
Back and rearing to go this week.

Weighed myself this morning and I'm bloody back where I started in feb (not surprising) but still a kick in the teeth as I had got under 10 stone before summer Envy

11st 11lbs

Anyway, hi everyone!

listentomydeclaration · 10/09/2021 16:51

My DD is wearing my clothes from when I was 3 stone lighter than I am now. I am even more depressed now. but this might be my motivator.

NutellaEllaElla · 10/09/2021 16:55

Welcome @golddustwomen.
Smashed my water goal today. Got soaked on my walk yesterday but it looks brighter this evening. We made it through the week! Enjoy your weekends everyone.

Gizzy93 · 11/09/2021 08:08

Oh, today was not good.
I forgot my lunch at work. I also had a very bad sleep last night. So I got home and ate 1,000 calories of sweet potato rosti's 😬
Ah well. Only 100 cal over for the day and I dont think I'll eat again tonight. I'm so full!

Welcome @golddustwomen

Octopus37 · 11/09/2021 08:49

@TheHoneyBadger totally understandable, sounds as if you are frazzled with school starting. @LBB2020 missed that about your jeans fitting the other day, you must be so pleased with yourself.

Welcome to any newbies who I'e missed. Pizza and wedges for tea last night, 8st13.25 this morning.

Morning, our isolation hopefully ends this weekend! (hoping DS1 doesn’t start with symptoms). Thank you @Octopus37 I am very pleased about getting back into my jeans Smile
Welcome to all the new joiners! Hope everyone has a good weekend x

NutellaEllaElla · 11/09/2021 19:42

Evening all. @Gizzy93, that's a tiny amount over budget all things considering!

I don''t think I hit my water goal for the day but my calorie intake has been on target. It's been hard work as DH has bought treats left right and centre today. I had restraint of steel as I cut a brownie in half like a chump for dessert. I also tried Morrison's own brand cookie dough light ice cream. It's lower cal (marginally) than Halo top and cheaper. It tasted good. Lots of bang for your buck.
