Here is the new thread. Thanks for the title @theHoneyBadger.

Weighed in at 8st12.5 this morning, 0.25 down from the beginning of August. No specific aim for me other than to eat a bit more healthily cause I've had a wierd lurgy the last few days, not covid have tested several times. Love September cause it always feels like a new beginning.

12st 1 this morning, up 0.5lb, with no good reason as I've been eating well and exercising. Finally made it to the gym. Kids dragged me to McDonald's today though, but I've managed to just about stick to calories by having fish for dinner. And I went to the gym again, so have some spare calories anyway.

Back to the gym tomorrow, and hope to see positive movement on the scales.

Phoenixrising2020 · 05/09/2021 09:38

Flattered, it sounds as thought the rucksack is proactive, well done.

Lady Danbury, water retention can be rather upsetting when you've worked hard. You are obviously doing very well with food and I have heard it said lately that you can't outrun a bad diet. Well done for going to the gym.

I managed to maintain at 10st 13lbs, which after Friday is no mean feat! What a relief, I was worried about gaining after overeating on Friday.

FlatteredFool · 05/09/2021 10:18

65.2kg this morning. We have a walk planned this afternoon and then of course it's back to the school run tomorrow. Tomorrow will be my first day to myself seeing as last week got messed up. Sadly there's lots of tidying to do but I will take time for myself too. Im going to make beetroot soup. It's soup season and beetroot is always good fun due to it being purple Grin
I need to sort out the mountain, well, small hill, of Amazon boxes containing Christmas presents while small people are at school.
Have a good day everyone and don't further the magic water! I didn't drink even half as much as normal when away and it's not good for the old digestive system iyswim. So water, water, water everyone!

LadyDanburysHat · 05/09/2021 12:57

@Phoenixrising2020 thank you.

This morning is 11st 13.7. The absolute highest of the 11s but I am overjoyed. Got to be really good at the start of this week as I have a night out on Thursday and I'm staying in a hotel too. So there will be too much food for sure. I'm looking forward to it though.

NutellaEllaElla · 05/09/2021 13:29

DH and I cycled 30 miles this morning and now my thighs feel like concrete Grin. It was good though. MFP has given me 1000 calories for that and while I won't go mad, I think I might treat myself to a scone Smile. Plan also to walk to the retail park nearby. If the weather's nice and i've got time, i'm trying to walk or cycle in the local area for chores, when I can.

FlatteredFool · 05/09/2021 18:16

Wow that's some bike ride!! I wouldn't be able to walk without pain after that!

Weekly average is 1499 calories a day Grin

It's been a good first week back on the wagon. I hope I can keep it up.

NutellaEllaElla · 05/09/2021 18:29

I have this thread to thank for that actually. She gave me advice which make sitting on the saddle tolerable.

Brilliant weekly average there Grin

LBB2020 · 05/09/2021 18:39

Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine today, it’s finally made an appearance here! Unfortunately we have all come down with Covid after having what we thought was a cold for a couple of days Sad we’re ok but already going a little crazy isolating with two young children! DS1 is also due to start his new preschool tomorrow which he obviously can’t now so that’s a little annoying! (he’s actually the only one who doesn’t seem to have got it yet!). Had an ok weekend but obviously haven’t got many steps or exercise in!

FlatteredFool · 05/09/2021 21:53

I'm hungreeee! I'm bouncing on my gym ball and watching tv trying not to give in to eating.

FlatteredFool · 06/09/2021 00:03

I bounced for nearly 3 hours! Too tired to eat now and need to sleep.
Night night all.

Gizzy93 · 06/09/2021 01:50

I hope everyone is doing well. Today is my first day of doing things properly.
I played a two dancey-type games on my VR headset this morning for an hour.

I dont think i could bounce for three hours! Well done! @FlatteredFool

Oh, @LBB2020 I hope you don't suffer too much from covid! Fingers crossed for a quick recovery!

Phoenixrising2020 · 06/09/2021 06:18

Lots of weekend exercise going on! I have lost another pound but the last two days have been much gentler than other people's! 10stones 11lbs 6oz, it is great to have somewhere to write it. Have a great day everyone.

FlatteredFool · 06/09/2021 06:49

@LBB2020 oh no, get better soon!

64.9kg this morning. That's 2kg in the first week of being back on the wagon. I'm happy with that Smile

Have a great day everyone and enjoy the sunshine if you have it. Picnic in the park after school for us today and a walk along the river.

Octopus37 · 06/09/2021 07:13

Sorry to hear that @LBB2020, hope you all feel better soon. I'm massively impressed with everyone's exercise, Ended up having a lazy day with pathetic steps yesterday and ate Dominos so 9st0.75 this morning. Hopefully its just water, how may times have I done this afterall since this thread started lol

@LadyDanburysHat, missed you getting into the 11s, massive well done

LBB2020 · 06/09/2021 07:44

Thank you everyone Smile
Well done on all the exercise and loses!

LadyDanburysHat · 06/09/2021 08:53

@NutellaEllaElla that is an impressive bike ride. My legs would be so stiff after that. Longest I've ever managed is 19 miles.

@FlatteredFool I totally get the feeling hungry thing. I have that on some days and it's awful. Because if I give in slightly to it I will completely stuff my face.

Thanks @Octopus37 I am back to 12st 0.2 this morning, but I don't mind, I've seen 11 and will see it again soon. I've been to the gym 3 times over the weekend and going back tonight. Making sure I get my moneys worth.

Gizzy93 · 06/09/2021 12:22

Great progress everyone!!

I learned today, the worst day to start a diet is the first day of your period lol

Oh well, I did pretty well!

OkyDoke · 06/09/2021 14:06

Would like to dip my toe in if okay? Loads to lose, maybe 4 stone. Had a baby 6 months ago, been back at work for 2 months. Very tired but can't carry on this way!

NutellaEllaElla · 06/09/2021 15:38

Welcome @Okydoke.

My period started today so I've been feeling snacky and not on point as usual. I bought a punnet of strawberries as they are low impact and support delicious right now. I'm sad that i screwed up a dress that I started making today and blame my period for that too. No energy to start anything again now so I won't have it in time for my holiday (unless I skiive my actual paying job for a week) 😭😭😭

LadyDanburysHat · 06/09/2021 16:12

Welcome @OkyDoke. If you start eating better, you will probably find you have more energy. Before I started dieting I was so lethargic from eating crap.

OkyDoke · 06/09/2021 16:15

Welcome *@OkyDoke*. If you start eating better, you will probably find you have more energy. Before I started dieting I was so lethargic from eating crap.
That's what I'm hoping, I have no other excuse as the baby sleeps well!
sparklyglitterball · 06/09/2021 19:46

Hey all, hope you've all enjoyed a bit of sunny weather today. I'm feeling frazzled from a hectic day at work, followed by coming home to three tired dc! On the plus side I've been too busy to snack which is often my downfall. Well done @LadyDanburysHat, you must be feeling happy.

sparklyglitterball · 06/09/2021 19:53

And @FlatteredFool that's a great loss. Well done to any other losses that I may have missed!

NutellaEllaElla · 06/09/2021 20:44

Keeping on track whilst on your period is really hard work isn't it? It feels like a herculean effort just to go for my daily evening walk. A fine day calories wise all considering.
