Apologies, cannot remember who's idea this was for a thread title, but I have stolen it.

9st3.75 this morning, meaning I am 0.25 down from the start of April. Not great, but I did get up to 9st7 in April, so I'll take that. Would be delighted if I could lose a pound this month. Lets hope the weather picks up, I'm sure that will help everyone.

Cuzco I think. Great title. That's a long time you've had your dad octopus..! I'm 9st2, down from 9st 3.75 at some stage this month but overeating and not able yet to plan to get sorted but I'm OK with maintaining, hanging on in there, having my reachable goals and.... Drinking lots of water! By end of May I'd love to start moving towards planned and prepped lunches and increased exercise.

Hi all, new name for the month instead of being a fool.
I've not been able to catch up on the old thread so will start anew with this one.
62.2 kg this morning or thereabouts as I weighed in PJs. I'm limited on what I can cook or make to eat because of my bandaged hand so I've not been worrying about what I'm eating. Steps have been good this week with nearly 100k clocked up so far.
Happy May to everyone, let's hope it's a successful one.

0.5 under 10st this morning, so happy with that. My for May is to end at same weight, but knowing full well I'll have some big fluctuations due to all the birthday's and hotel stay this month.

13:9 today. Would love to lose huge amounts this month but I'm trying to control my expectations and frustrations about this not being a fast process. Think I lost 6lbs last month which really isn't bad but just feels so slow given how much I have to lose. If I lose 6lbs again this I will appreciate that it is good progress!

As soon as my ankle is stronger I want to be back to gym 3x a week plus lots of steps on work days.

Pub dinner and cider sounds good.

Back done to 13:8 today. 13:7.8 was my lowest on Thursday. Hoping for 13:6 or under by Saturday.

Family lunch outdoors today depending on weather and there will definitely be calorific alcohol so I'll need to be good from tomorrow.

13:6.8 Shock I got on twice because I couldn’t believe the 6. Especially after Sunday lunch with wine and beer.

Going to the gym but will stick to weights I think because my ankle is still swollen.

Wohooh Honeybadger! You're an inspiration. Delighted for you. I'm 9st2.75 and like that octopus, I'll take it considering the constant gorging. I'm doing OK on water and selfcare but I'm biding my time, nearly there with ridiculously hectic time so all will be well Smile

Good attitude octopus.

You’re more than 4 stone less than me-can you imagine lugging 4st extra fat around? Puts it into perspective for me how much I want this weight gone and then never to let this happen again. I’m used to it but it really is a lot to be dragging around on me.

I’m 2 stone down from my highest last year and want to get to 10:7 so 3st to go.

Just be inspired never to put loads of weight on. I’m more of a cautionary tale than inspiration.

I’ve been to the gym and I’m broken. Just did weights machines because of ankle. I dread to think how much I’m going to ache tomorrow because I am already sore

9st4.75 this morning, think it probably the lack of water, can usually tell as I wake up feeling really rehydrated. Awful weather here but slightly better than last night.

Also shuffling in from the naughty corner behind Nutella. DH was off last week so I guess if times were different we would have been on holiday. Instead we had lunch out four times and takeaway fish and chips, plus a healthy sprinkling of fizz for our anniversary. I tried not to go too crazy the rest of the time but I wasn't logging calories and there was some snacking.
Back on the wagon today, but my God my body is craving carbs. Argh.
