Apologies, cannot remember who's idea this was for a thread title, but I have stolen it.

9st3.75 this morning, meaning I am 0.25 down from the start of April. Not great, but I did get up to 9st7 in April, so I'll take that. Would be delighted if I could lose a pound this month. Lets hope the weather picks up, I'm sure that will help everyone.

Well done HeyGirl. Ankle isn't too bad just still tender and still benefits from support and regular elevation. I fell pretty badly and didn't want to take time off work so didn't rest it well. It's getting there.

I'm still up on the scales. Epic sleep last night and very tired non moving day yesterday so not surprised.

Octopus37 · 09/05/2021 13:03

Well done @HeyGirlHeyBoy. Went out last night and one of my friends also sent me a surprise box of cakes, which are stunning. Night out was very needed and the cakes were a lovely surprise, 9st4.75 this morning. A bit hungover today after only two pints of cider, cannot believe how bad my tolerance to alcohol has got Have been drinking loads of water as well. Worth it though.

Your nights out don't seem to send you sky high in the immediate aftermath the way mine can Octopus. Lovely walk this AM. Delicious toastie with cheddar, pesto and roast veg for my lunch, ONO in fridge for next two mornings and ratatouille in the oven Grin Shades of 2020 Grin

NutellaEllaElla · 09/05/2021 13:37

'cos that toasty sounds epic.

We also had a lovely walk this AM. Scrambled eggs with mushrooms, garlic and gammon for lunch and greek yoghurt pizza for dinner. Snacks: cookie and a brownie. Hopefully nothing more (my achilles heel atm) and hopefully more walking this avo.

We had curry takeaway last night which is impossible to guesstimate cals of think i'd rather not know.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 09/05/2021 14:02

Toastie was epic and so easy. I've another portion of roast veg to recreate during week. My aim now has to be not allowing myself to get hungry.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 09/05/2021 19:20

Right, logging for the day
Banana, blueberries, Greek yoghurt, cappuccino
Roast veg toastie
Chicken curry and rice
10k minimum (fitbit strap still not replaced but have a good idea)
Will be in bed by 9 not sleeping well at all :/

NutellaEllaElla · 09/05/2021 20:14

Pleased to say no more snacking so cals come in at a respectable level and I walked hopefully 1000 cals off today. Teeth brushed. Done.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 09/05/2021 21:57

Yay for teeth brushing Grin In bed here, all prepped! Come on this week!

Octopus37 · 10/05/2021 06:53

9st4.75 here today, cake and no enough steps yesterday. Will be doing better today at least steps wise. On countdown till when my Dad goes back now, I will be taking him on the train and seeing my Sister which I'm really looking forward to. A week on Wednesday which makes it 9 days

Wow that has been a long stint octopus! I am raging I didn't weigh! Went downstairs with dc and had eaten my breakfast before I thought of it. I will have to do well today now just to weigh tomorrow. Can't believe how different I feel just from prepping and two days not over eating.. Need to stay here! Have a good day all.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 10/05/2021 19:10

Logging for the day and teeth are brushed Grin
B: ono
L: ratatouille
D:roast chicken dinner
S: Granny Smith and almonds.

NutellaEllaElla · 10/05/2021 19:30

What an impressively healthy day @HeyGirlHeyBoy! And so early to have brushed your teeth. You'll put us all to shame Grin.
I've just eaten a cookies and ice cream sandwich from Aldi. It's mini but 100 cals and I love them.

TheHoneyBadger · 10/05/2021 20:01

Haven’t eaten yet and heygirl is finished for the day!

I think I might just have baked beans or something. I was waiting on ds but apparently he had chip shop sausage and chips with his friend already.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 10/05/2021 20:08

Haven’t eaten yet and heygirl is finished for the day!

Grin All kinds of everything on this thread. We kinda fast top to toe!

TheHoneyBadger · 10/05/2021 21:31

Smile I had a can of baked beans and sausages and a bit of grated cheese. Classy dinner.

I'm knackered. I know to people out of schools it will sound pathetic but I'm in the 5th week of a 7 week term in crazy times and I'm done in. Bit of family saga this evening and I just don't have the energy for it so am ignoring until tomorrow. I don't think they grasp that I need a bit of head space after work and have a teenager and home to deal with as well as my job. My parents are retired and quite irked if they ring and I don't answer the phone or call back right away. I'm afraid they'll have stay irked this evening.

Distinct lack of gym this week - friend went away for the weekend so we didn't go today, I have my second vaccination on Wednesday morning so can't go then either so it will just be Friday. I did do day 1 of a 30 day yoga programme today though and really want to make sure I do it daily.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 10/05/2021 21:51

Fellow teacher here Honeybadger but by all accounts you have it worse in the UK! I am considering pt next year.. We'll see.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 11/05/2021 07:05

9 stone baby! Smile Wohooh. Now I need to keep just eating decent meals. I've built in a snack today also. Have a good day all, lovely and sunny tho chilly here!

NutellaEllaElla · 11/05/2021 07:09

Congratulations!

NutellaEllaElla · 11/05/2021 07:38

I'm up another lb. That's 5lbs off my lowest and 4 off maintenance goal. Wtf.

TheHoneyBadger · 11/05/2021 07:45

Well done heygirl.

I’m 13:7.4 so 0.4 above my lowest. Trying not to let the plateau word take hold in my head. Should get some flights of stairs in today as I promised to hunt for displaced textbooks that have gone awol in zones.

Octopus37 · 11/05/2021 15:36

Well done @HeyGirlHeyBoy and @TheHoneyBadger. 9st4 this morning, managed good steps yesterday, just over 17,000.

Really impressed I've gone from 14.13 to 14.5 in 3/4 weeks so it's coming off quite well. I've got 9 weeks till we go on holiday and I'd love to get down to 13 stone by then. I'm hoping it's do able but I need to really get a grip with these sugar cravings. I love sweets and chocolate Angry

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 11/05/2021 18:32

Stressbandit, theyre a scourge!! An absolute gutter drug IMHO Grin Honestly the bane of my life. I have had three days now with none and no bother, isn't it crazy and yet I haven't been trying not to as such I'm just eating well but trying not to obsess about no sugary things as it's like a neon sign if I do.
Logging, day done.
Ono
Roast veg and cheddar wrap
Greek yoghurt and chopped orange
Shepherd's pie and broccoli

NutellaEllaElla · 11/05/2021 19:13

I struggle with sugar cravings too.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 11/05/2021 19:25

I'm surprised Nutella as you seem to fit in small sugary snacks along the way without slashing your tyres.
