No, decent enough. If I'd gotten my 15,000 steps it would be good. I reckon I can have 1700-1800 on 15,000 but at 10,000 I should be 1500-1600. This stuff takes up too much headspace

So far only 6000 steps but going for a walk with DH once he gets off his 8pm parents evening call (!)
Food has been excellent if I do say so myself but I have had two glasses of wine to congratulate myself on surviving teaching 😂
Need to get back on the spin bike ASAP, I’m teaching later this term so it’s harder to find the time than when I was WFH, never thought I’d say it but I miss WFH!!

Mrsmadevans · 26/04/2021 20:04

You all did well by the seems of it Smile
l just got in and having a chicken chow mein from the Chinese because we came back so late . Haven't eaten all day though so should be ok bit like IF again. I can do it when l make my mind up to do it have to stay busy that is the key!

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2021 07:01

So my first week on 1450 has been ok.
3lb off average steps 13900
Average calories 1509

Not bad
Week. 2 go. Rinse ans repeat then I might be ready to find time for pump

Not2bObvious · 27/04/2021 07:52

I think 3lb off your average is much better than no bad. That's pretty darn spectacular! Well done for sticking to the lower cals, did you find you made better food choices with having a lower amount?
I haven't weighed yet today, bunged up to add to the weekend bloat. Fell back asleep this morning after waking at 5.30 til 6.15, went back into a coma for over an hour. Feel dopey. Hoping to get body pump done in between work bits

Thanks. It was ok once I got into the groove. Yes I find a lot of my calories are milk for tea.
Yes picking fruit over choc and I never thought that would happen.
Also looking at the best calories in family dinners.
I'm made my brunch smaller to spread out more smaller meals

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2021 09:35

I've spent about £20 on new protein powder samples as I want to move brands

Not2bObvious · 27/04/2021 10:13

Interesting, I've no low hanging fruit like milk in tea - although I have developed a fondness for coffee whitener which I measure out about 70 cals of a day. Some days I don't use it all and I get excited about my calorie refund😂 All 20/30 of the them! Great to hear how you're managing, I've had to add a strong shot of coffee to my protein works to counter the super sweetness. I'm out of powder for now and not planning on a restock, can't get much luck and there's no way in hell I'd buy RH, don't even know if they ship here anyway.

Got my body pump and a short body combat done. Between that and a walk to the shops, I'm close to my 9,000 - so another low day but ok. Have around 1450 tracked so 350 left if I allow 1800. I'll see how I go

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2021 18:49

That's my dilemma not
I have that protein powder but I can't bring myself to buy more. I've sent for natural nutrients samples and my protein works.

I'm happy to post on if you want some sending. Holland and Barret do loads too but I'm. Never in town now

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2021 18:50

I must get back to pump. Sunday I will restart

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2021 20:52

11500 steps, 1367 calories
I will take that

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2021 09:11

Are your calories based on weight workouts or none life? You might be due more if you start back lifting (I know body pump is hardly Olympic lifting but it's work)
Faced the scales, a solid 164, down from 165.6 on Sunday. I'll continue weighing for the next couple of days, might leave Saturday-Tuesday out as they are usually inflated weights. Another strategy to reduce the brain ache while I'm undoing the gain.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 28/04/2021 09:58

No weight workout as I'm not doing them at the minute. Based on 10-12k steps.

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/04/2021 09:58

Great loss not

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2021 10:39

Thanks very much life, definitely weekend bloat. Very solid 2.5-3 pound on from Easter that I've kept topped up with weekend messing. Slow day on the steps so far, lucky I got a brisk 30 mins in before work. Going to go for a potter around the shopping centre near my office, flip all open but need stuff for littler dd

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 28/04/2021 15:54

Stressed, gah
Hungry

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2021 17:03

It's nearly dinner time, you can fix the hunger soon, real food for hunger only I'm an absolute hypocrite I know, but jeez we have to have some dieting success - you're our beacon right now life. Sorry you're stressed, I'm bored out of my mind all the bloody time - not good for the hunger either

@lifelongfrugaleer

Bloody house sale will be the death of me
Meet your sister except replace with house purchase Grin

Scales 188.9 today & yesterday

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2021 19:29

You poor pair, awful stressful house sake/purchase. What did you decide to do happier? Noom or SW or something else?
I'm bang on calories and closing the kitchen. Under 10,000 steps so that means v small deficit. 3 x ok days, it's a weights day tomorrow

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 28/04/2021 19:52

It's week off pill so I'm doing nothing, exhausted and just managing to get from one day to the next!

Happierwithouthim · 28/04/2021 20:00

Fantastic work with closing kitchen!

I'm going to pull out my meal prep king book too, their insta post of a weeks worth of meals batch cooked reminded me of them

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2021 20:20

You do right, just get through the week - it can be brutal, no need to add any more stress. Fancy new airfryer bought, need to do research for recipes 😋
