Had a latte first thing not eaten breakfast, l never do , am not in a good place with food ATM 🙄
Beautiful day here sunny and blue skies 🌞
Have a good day everyone 😊

Mrsmadevans · 23/04/2021 08:12

Life well done great work 😃
Not you are dead right the junk fuels the need 😊

Not2bObvious · 23/04/2021 09:07

Had to weigh in a different place the last few days so I was rewarded with a .8 gain. Oh well, it's still better than it was 10 days ago.
Going for a walk with family member this morning, looking forward to a chat although it'll likely be a rant about our current world. Still very little change here

Me too, it's a long time since school sewing lessons.
Thanks. If there is a massive Q I'm not waiting

Not2bObvious · 23/04/2021 14:03

Tried deciphering the last message before accepting it was probably meant for another thread life?
Not far off 10,000 here, and had a veggie burger on a bagel for lunch, very tasty. Might pop to M&S in a bit to break up the day, ep over tonight so will be busy making dinner after 5pm.

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/04/2021 14:07

Ha yes, it was meant for the frugal money thread.
11500 steps. Day planned with a bit to spare which will be eaten too

Mrsmadevans · 23/04/2021 15:11

Not don't worry re the moving of the scale position l am sure when you get back to the normal place it will be fine Smile
Well done on the steps too Not & Life Smile
Had a naked burger yesterday but l really didn't like it , l am not a big meat eater so l just think it is the way it looked just like a normal burger , how mad is that !

Not2bObvious · 23/04/2021 17:35

Mine was a Linda McCartney one, I had heard good things and I wasn't disappointed. Saying that, very high calories considering. A 3% burger from M&S is only 120 cals or so, the veggie one was 265! But, I'm not stressing that today, I didn't have the choice & I need to eat them at some point😂
Did a little shopping spree, amazing considering we only have about 5 shops open in our shopping centre. Flowers, 2 tops (dunnes happier, they're pushing the "essential" boundaries!) PJs for dd2, fancy blush wine for me. Browsed around boots. I needed a lift, it helped a bit.

Scales up today which is normal for a Saturday. Ate at maintenance yesterday, so that was ok. Very tired today, probably just going to get a walk later. Weights tomorrow is the plan at the moment

Morning everyone 😀
Have not slept well at all, l think l am catching up on it all the worry over DH Atrial fibrillation attack .
Not you may not think so but maintaining is excellent . Well done you and so good to hear you had a little shop, nothing like a bit of retail therapy to cheer us up a bit 😊
Am off to Cardiff to Dd2 house to do a little bit of gardening and tidying up , might have a little retail therapy myself 😃👏
Have a good day everyone 😊👍

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/04/2021 08:52

Struggled yesterday on low calories but didn't go over. Better sleep so today will be better. I need to reduce my tea consumption to get more calories to. Eat

Not2bObvious · 24/04/2021 09:30

Hope you have a lovely day mrs, a day of company/fresh air, a bit of shopping to lift hand spirit will do you a world of good. I'm going for a walk with my bestie tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to it.
Brilliant work sticking to the lower cals life, I need to follow your example, I'm already 470 cals in today. Bad night sleep is driving my hunger

I've tracked the day and done aerobic and walked. Currently on 15500 £ steps. Today will be difficult staying low as it's curry night. I could play about and have less.

Not2bObvious · 24/04/2021 16:10

Great steps there life, I managed a 20 min jog, and a mixed les Mills class which was around 40 mins. Only on 7,000 or so, would like to get to 10,000 but seriously knackered after rubbish sleep. Food has been indulgent and not tracked yet, oops

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 24/04/2021 17:15

I've guested at 500 over but once I weigh out it should be less.

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/04/2021 17:15

Just be kind to yourself not. Being tired is the worst

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/04/2021 17:18

I looked longing at crack choc in Aldi but resisted

Not2bObvious · 24/04/2021 18:05

Good for you, that's progress. Enjoy your curry, did a Thai curry here

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 24/04/2021 18:38

Thank you Not we enjoyed ourselves today in Dd2 garden 😁 did a little shopping in Lidls too. Came home and actually stopped from scoffing by tidying the dining room and sorting out a hellova lot of paperwork.
Not eaten much today flatbreads & salad then l did eat 4 biscuits with a cuppa 🙄
Pizza tonight but a small one only 👍
Enjoy your Thai curry Not
Well done on resisting the choc Life 👏Enjoy your curry 😁

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/04/2021 19:44

The curry was lovely as was the alcohol free cider. I guess tracked to 1600. 20892 steps

Not2bObvious · 24/04/2021 20:40

That's a great result life, I haven't added everything into mfp yet, I know I'm over but by Saturday standards it's on the low side of over. Taken myself to bed as I'm shattered.
That sounds like a very productive day mrs, good for you. Enjoy your pizza, well deserved. Pizza on the plan tomorrow, will have to earn it by doing a good walk. Might do one in the morning as well as the planned one with bestie

Sounds like everyone is doing well!

It looks like I will have my first leg surgery in mid-May, just waiting for the secretary to get back to me with specific dates. I am so excited. I hope he can fit all three in soonish so I have new skinny legs for summer!!
DH has his colonoscopy this week which will hopefully bring the good news indicated by the ultrasound, and give him a clean bill of health.
I’m going to try and track food on MFP for two weeks, aiming for 1200 a day with low carb/sugar and 16;8 intermittent fasting thrown in. It’s tricky as I will be having lunch provided at work and it saves us so much money when we both have school lunches, ill just have to pick the healthiest bits each day.

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/04/2021 08:01

Yes, I was feeling fomo earlier and that this amount of calories is existing not living. Then I was pleasantly surprised.
131.8 today. 0.3 up but not enough to drink on a hot day
Now got sunburned forehead doh

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/04/2021 08:03

Exciting gen. Stay away from school puds Smile

Not2bObvious · 25/04/2021 10:25

How exciting to have your first surgery coming up gen, that's something positive to focus on. Your plan sounds good and if you try pick the best option/focus on portions, the provided meals will be fine. Save your few quid, v important.
I'm up another .4 today so 1.8 up on Friday. Meh, it's fine, always takes 2-3 weeks to flush out a big gain. I've exercised/ate ok/did have a deficit over the week but it's just the pattern. It'll turn around next week as I've been getting better at sticking to calories and even my weekend splurges are getting a little less splurgey - over time that'll help.
