Thought I would start a new thread. Hoping that April will be a better month for all of us, especially with places opening up again and hopefully continued better weather.

Weighed in at 9st4 this morning. I'm not setting a weight goal this month, instead I'll be focusing on trying to improve my fitness and general well being. Hoping that a bit of weight loss might follow.

Well done everybody. Had Dominoes last night so up to 9st5 this morning. Today has been very carby, I am so tired and stressed, cannot really avoid it. V light almost non existent period happening, know I am lucky that its happening this way, but my body needs to cotton on to not having to compensate for the blood loss lol. One day at a time.

On the plus side, have flossed by teeth every day for the last two and a half weeks. Have also started a new skin care routine and have nearly made my steps every day. O and I have managed not to kill my Dad lol.

Octopus37 · 30/04/2021 21:52

@HeyGirlHeyBoy yes you inspired me to do some self-care visits, as well as being told at the dentist that I need to floss. I apologise to everyone for the Dad comment, realise how awful it sounded.. Just very trying and stressful at the moment.

Totally! I had the whole saga of hunger, pmt etc only for a 2 day pathetic attempt at a period. I dread to think how many years this could drag on for!
TheHoneyBadger · 30/04/2021 22:25

And no it didn't sound awful - I don't know how anyone copes with a parent staying - I find visiting for a couple of hours straining enough.

NutellaEllaElla · 01/05/2021 06:40

It totally didn't sound awful. Dark humour gets us through a lot I reckon!

There is the new thread

@TheHoneyBadger know what you mean about wondering how long peri is going to drag on for.
Thanks everyone for being tolerant about my comment about my Dad, realised after I had typed it that I could have really upset someone. We are two and a half weeks in, think he is going to be down here for another two weeks. A day at a time and breathe
