Thought I would start a new thread. Hoping that April will be a better month for all of us, especially with places opening up again and hopefully continued better weather.

Weighed in at 9st4 this morning. I'm not setting a weight goal this month, instead I'll be focusing on trying to improve my fitness and general well being. Hoping that a bit of weight loss might follow.

@HeyGirlHeyBoy I'm a size 12 in skirts and trousers. Very occasionally in dodgy shops I need to go up to a size 14. In this shop size 14 is labelled as XL. Unfortunately or fortunately the clothes are quite nice and very reasonably priced, just have to get past the size thing. Hope everyone is having a good Saturday.

Ah no you're right octopus, important thing is you like them. I might take a look! Imagine a size 12 being XL Shock Madness. I'm heading to the sea now and had a great walk this morning with friend. I was looking for something sweet after lunch but there was nothing there so I had a bowl of strawberries and Greek yoghurt. One point to me! Grin

Avoided scales as I had Chinese last night. Have been to the gym and worked hard but I’m off to bubble friends for dinner and drinks tonight.

I was upset about something that happened at work yesterday which resulted in ordering takeaway and wine whilst feeling sorry for myself.

Not a successful week weight wise but I have been active.

Nice to see you here @HeyGirlHeyBoy sounds like you're doing well!

I don't know how I'm going to be on weigh day (Monday for now). I've been really all week apart from my meal out yesterday (two glasses wine, mussels with white wine sauce, crusty bread and chips, massive slab of cheesecake 🤪)

Very good today though!

B good coffee 80 cals
L sushi pack, strawberries 250 cals
D Quorn bolognese & spaghetti 450 cals and a lidl fake raspberry & dark choc magnum type ice cream (these are 230 cal and totally worth it!)

So I'm at 1000 cals now, will have something small later. Did a workout class this morning.hoping today will offset last nights indulgence!

One good day = loss of 0.75lbs. Back to 9st 1.75 this morning. Think I'm going to weigh each day this week and try to rein myself back in that way. Heading out in the new leggings for a walk in the next hour or so. Coffee, berries and Greek yoghurt now. Have a lovely sunny, Sunday all. Off to the sea for the afternoon.

@Hangoverstruggles your meal sounds absolutely lush. Sounds as if everyone is doing well. 9st3.75 this morning, v busy and stressy at the moment which helps in one respect but does't in another cause I just want to eat carbs.

I twisted my ankle walking home last night - couldn't see the path in the dark park we cut through and managed to step right on the edge of it and turn over my ankle and fall hard. Then had to hobble home with ds helping me.

Very glad I went to the gym yesterday. Fingers crossed it recovers quickly but can't see me being very active today as it's very swollen and sore.

Will therefore watch my calories instead.

I think I've conceded that I may not see any progress with my weight now till my period is out of the way. Due any day now.

Agree your meal sounds lovely hangover.

Oh hope your ankle will heal quickly Honeybadger. That's a good weight octopus, let this be a good week ahead now and maybe 9st is in sight for us both again soon. I forgot my goals in last post, and it helps me stick to something at least!
3L water, teeth, skin and no snacking after 7pm.

Hi all, I need to catch up on the thread have been in hospital and had surgery on Friday so I've not weighed myself all week. I was 62.6kg on the hospital scales on Thursday and 61.8kg on mine this morning. AF is due, well, overdue now, but they are random these days. The weather has been so beautiful and I've missed my walks and felt very lazy lying around all day.
Hope everyone is ok.

Done 30 mins of yoga this morning, not gonna burn any cals but lovely to have a good stretch on a Sunday morning.

Not eaten yet, but got some nice bbq & salady bits in for lunch & dinner tonight.

Sounds like a tough couple of days @TheHoneyBadger, hope the next week is a better one!

We also had takeaway last night. Normally I try and save some of the very generous portion back for lunch, but last night I ate the lot Blush

On the flip side, on Friday I had a Waitrose low calorie cottage pie. Allegedly only 253 calories. It was a really decent main mail so I don't see how it's only 253 calories. That's as many as when I have a frugal sandwich. I will certainly be having more of them. I could have them twice a day for lunch and dinner and only be just over 500cals. That's nuts.

Well done hangover. It soon becomes real fat if you don’t course correct.

I’m still a pound up from my lowest. I’m 13:10.8. Hopefully I can get losing again this week. Ankle is better than yesterday and I’m hoping by tomorrow evening I can manage a gentle gym visit.

I really need to whip myself into shape I feel. I'm just out of control on weekends. I feel much better than last week so no excuses. I am thinking about reducing my calories this week to balance.

I'm still not ready to count cals again here, just too much on my plate at mo, no pun intended. Stayed the same this morning, so that's something. A walk later plus no snacking after 6pm.3L water, finding the water intake more challenging on weekends than weekdays. Teeth, skin. Bed by 11! Have a good day all.

Know what you mean about the overdue period thing, I' in the same boat, literally no idea whether it is going to be today or in several weeks. @TheHoneyBadger sorry to hear about your ankle, hope you are on the mend. @Hangoverstruggles wow you've done really well.

9st3.75 this morning, as I said yesterday I think stress and being so busy is helping at the moment. Was meant to be going out for a meal later but have cancelled cause so much going on. We might manage to get out for a drink and some nibbles mid evening.

Water water water everyone!

I've done much better so far today. No snacking at all this morning and even fitted in a little cycle. I've developed an attitude that if I need to go somewhere in my v local area, that it isn't worth driving and I should walk or cycle if I can. It's all the walking we've done in the last year. So anyway, we needed a part to fix the water heating so I zipped over to the plumbers merchants on my bike.

Remembered I’m giving blood tomorrow and have a good walk to get there. Ate a big calorific dinner tonight as I’d been way in deficit for a couple of days and seemed wise before blood donation.

Period allegedly due but who knows lately. Hoping for a big whoosh after that’s out of the way 🙏
