Thought I would start a new thread. Hoping that April will be a better month for all of us, especially with places opening up again and hopefully continued better weather.

Weighed in at 9st4 this morning. I'm not setting a weight goal this month, instead I'll be focusing on trying to improve my fitness and general well being. Hoping that a bit of weight loss might follow.

13:10 so nearly back to low and period has landed so hopefully it’ll keep going in the right direction now.

This is the weight I was fully pregnant and I managed to be back to under 10st in about 10 months somehow.

@TheHoneyBadger thats great. How's your ankle now? 9st3.25 this morning, but I went out for a couple of drinks last night and have the whole post alcohol hunger thing going on today.

It's got a blue stripe but is less swollen that it was and I can walk on it - like it doesn't feel right but it's not awful itms.

Decent weight there - seems like you've got it reigned in again to maintenance - know it got a bit upwards at one point. Don't forget to congratulate yourself on that maintenance Octopus - we all know how easy it is to put weight on and how hard it is to get anywhere near our ideal weights of yesteryear aka before turning 40 it seems.

They wouldn’t let me go after blood donation unless I ate something so I had two tuc sandwiches. So tasty! Pretty wiped out after the walk home and can’t go to gym so I’ll try and keep calories low.

Big fuck up tonight. Couldn't get home for my 450 cal planned dinner so had greek Souvlaki at 9pm which was probably double what I had accounted for. I was so on target as well Sad

I’m 13:9.5 so just about scraping a new low but all a bit too slow at the minute. Have only lost about 4lbs in April so far and that’s with going to the gym.

Need to do better food wise. Will aim for a decent fast today.

@TheHoneyBadger its not only four pounds, four pounds in a month is loads. I ate like a pig yesterday, slight hangover hunger and tired, bad combo, all savoury though. Therefore 9st4.25 this morning, also think I might be starting a period, day 40 of my cycle so we'll see.

April has been a bit of a write off for me too. DH is off work this week, so given it's the closest thing we've had to a holiday for almost two years, we've been going out for lunch. Time is flying though and by the weekend it's May, so I'm asking, please May I lose a little bit more! I feel like a stuck record each weigh day saying 'this week I'll focus' but actually it's just a crazy time of year for me and I think May will be spectacularly boring, and therefore easier to manage food wise, by comparison.

13:7.8 my whoosh has finally come now I’ve had my period and a proper bm.

Think my goal was 13:7 or under for April so not far off.

On May 1st last year I was 15:6 which is when I started on these threads I think. So nearly 2 stone down. Trying not to dwell on how much lighter I’d be if I hadn’t regained 12lbs over winter lockdowns. I’ve lost 18lbs since start of February when I got back on the wagon.

I’m still going to be fat for summer but not as fat as as now.

Gym cancelled because my ankle is hurting and swollen more again. I seem to be having a piggy day.

Thanks to whoever mentioned meringue nests. Just had 2 with low cal squirts cream, strawberries and blueberries in between. Yum

Yeah a bit frustrating but I've got a lot of up and down and stairs and back and forth across the whole school to different zones tomorrow so taking the chance to rest it seems a good idea. I thought it was ok but walked into the village to pick something up this afternoon and it hurt - think I was dosed up on painkillers for work yesterday so assumed it was a lot better. Today without painkillers was a different story and I seem to have a new phase of bruising. Fingers crossed I can get to the gym at the weekend. Really ate way too many calories today so need to e good tomorrow.

My sister is back in the country for a few weeks so seeing her tomorrow - also viewing a flat early afternoon which I could just about afford to buy but need to see how small it really is as the pictures aren't that revealing (presumably for a reason). Other than that would like to get to the gym if possible and definitely need to get on top of the laundry mountain that has grown with a week of work and not being very mobile (any excuse).

I still haven't been to a pub or out to lunch anywhere - my sister has been released from quarantine after a million expensive tests now so I might see if I can talk her into going somewhere.

I have been up late typing an assignment at night this week so I'm afraid intake not good but nonetheless I will weigh today to keep a check in. I'm nearly finished with all this extra commitment so being freed up should J greatly help with exercise at least! Happy Friday!

Can't believe we're nearly into May. I've been doing this for over a year and think it's for life now. Just generally eating mindfully, gaining a bit then losing it again.

Back to 10st now so lost those 4lb gained over Easter & time off work. Would ideally like to drop another 2lb in May to be back at my happy 9st12 but considering May bring my wedding Anniversary, birthday, DH birthday, two nights in a hotel (holy fu k I can't wait!!!) and half term I think it's going to be a gain 😁
