HELLO & WELCOME! March already and the start of Spring! We’ll all feel better with the onset of warmer weather ☀️.

This thread is for those of us who enjoy healthy eating, exercising and feeling motivated to reach (or maintain) a healthy weight/bmi. The founding members of these threads are inspirational and supportive in equal measure. I’m sure @SunshineCake & @halfshrunkmoretogo won’t mind me using them as Poster Girls.
They have both demonstrated that if we eat right, get outside & move more your mental health will heap the rewards. Better mental health = better choices. It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

There are so many enjoyable lifestyle options out there without the need to resort to extreme measures. Whatever way you choose, it needs to be enjoyable & sustainable for the long term. This is a long term commitment rather than a quick fix. I rarely drink alcohol and keep sugar to a minimum. I exercise by doing walking vids & strength sessions with light weighs.

As no one size fits all members need to follow their own way of eating. Nonetheless this thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

There is no shaming, competition or harsh words to be found on these threads. We are in this together.

positive thoughts everyone as we head into april!!
judging from photo's my dd has sent looks like lovely weather over there.
which should make getting out easier i hope.
i'm poking along over here, down 6.2 lbs for the month.
not having to plan meals does make the program easy to follow along with years of experience which makes making substitutions easy to make.

I've found this thread really useful, so thank you all very very much! Down 6lbs this month, which is satisfying and a reality check too. That's with being 'good' about 70% of the time and not paying much attention the rest. Onwards to April!

This mornings weigh in was a 1lb up now
10’3 1/2.

The start of a new month is positive sign and I am determined to do better. As on my small frame I feel heavy and not comfortable. Trousers today would barley go over my hips.
I need to take the bull by the horns and take control of myself.

Well done to all the losses and the non scale victories. Let’s go smash our goals in April
